Tamas — Restaurant in Haryana

New to Hisar town..so was looking for a good place to dine in. Tamas was suggested by a friend. So the first challenge we faced was climbing two stair cases to reach it. No lift ! For old people that’s a huge challenge. Specially when it doesn’t have a railing to hold on to. Ambiance was very good. Considering a kind of satellite town, it was good to come across a decent place with good ambiance. The place was highly subscribed. Lot of crowd built up. If you want to check out a place for its standards, order things that you generally order, you will know the standard. So I Ordered Mojito, was happy that it was good. Looking at bar and drinks being served, bartender is really good at what he does. Dahi ke kabab in snacks was nice. Chicken Caesar salad was terrible to say the least. The cook had just assembled some few things and loaded them up with mayonnaise! Seriously that was such a dampener ! I haven’t had a worse Caesar salad before. Service was fast despite the rush. That was a huge plus ! Food was good enough. The waiter staff surely needs to improve their customer management and their skills. Music played was really good. It is situated on first floor of a marriage place (banquet and garden area), it's entrance is clumsy and long distance as well as narrow space makes it even poorer. But it's worth reaching out for the restaurant, the vibes of the place is in sync with the current cafe culture. There are different indoor and outdoor sitting options available, even party hall is available for special bookings. Restrooms and dinning area are hygienic. The place is full of light. Service is of average standard and beverages could be better. But their real concern should be food which might disappoint foodies. As per Taste, pina colado was not refreshing at all even after repeated request to the service guy. Their pizza was not crispy though it was of thin crust and taste was average like any other pizza outlet around the corner. One can visit it for the vibes of the place but food is not worth it as per my two visits in the span of...

This Cafe Lounge has a Really Great Vibe. Most of the Residents, from Hansi & Hisar really look for such amazing places.

You can bring Your own Booze - You have an option of bringing your own liquor, since Tamas has not yet Got its Licence. They charge Rs.50/- per bottle of Beer.

We ordered - Dahi Ke Kebab, Chicken Chaat, Pina Colada. The Food was Nice.
