Read moreSo after our paragliding session at Bir and a hearty breakfast (review coming up soon), we decided to drop by Ara Café, Bir after going through all the reviews.
The view from the café, located on the second floor, is absolutely stunning, mountains on one side and valleys on the other. If you are there between 5–6 PM, you can also get to catch the sunset, which is nothing short of spectacular.
Coming to the food, we started with a hot chocolate and an ice lemon tea. The hot chocolate was simply outstanding, one of the best we have had, i would highly recommend it. The lemon iced tea, on the other hand, felt more like it was from a packed mix, so just about average.

Read more✨Order anything on the menu and you’re gonna love it!✨ Despite there being numerous cafes in Bir, nothing comes close to Ara Café. It is a rooftop café overlooking the Old Bir village area and the vast mountains nearby. Besides a rooftop seating space, you can also spend hours tasting different things on the menu or chatting the time away in their most aesthetic and cosiest indoor hut area.
Things I LOVED: ✅Ambience – every element in the café speaks to you and the soft café jazz music accompanying binds everything together beautifully ✅Food – loved everything we got to eat at the café ✅Presentation – eating at Ara will feel much like having a meal at a casual dining restaurant, the presentation of food is excellent. ✅Hosting – the chefs as well as the host are extremely hospitable and one of these days, if you’re lucky, you might even witness an impromptu live music session.
MUST TRY: 💥Himachali Thali (Kangri Dham) 10/10 💥Khatta chicken 💥Whole wheat chicken siddu 💥Stuffed grilled chicken with mushroom sauce 💥Mangofee pie jar
