By grace of god i got a chance to visit dalhousie twice in a year While searching for best cafes in dalhousie This certain name always came up Cafe by mongas N i was too excited to try this Last time i couldnt visit it So this time i made sure to go there D cafe is a very cute vibe Limited chairs n tables-very aesthetic place But price wise its on a higher side No bakery item or pastry was less than 200rs I did find my comfort in donuts which was priced at 75rs each n believe me eating warm donuts just filled up my heart A good old time cold coffee with ice cream costed 280 rs n it was very disappointing .. i really shouldn’t hve ordered it Coz it was not worth d hype as recommended by d staff If i evr go again i would surely like to give this place a complete miss.. Spotted this one on the way back from Khajjiar on the Dalhousie Khajjiar Road(a little after DPS school if one is coming from Dalhousie). It's a cozy, little cafe with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Tables by the huge glass windows lets you enjoy the weather outside while you sip your coffee/tea. The staff is courteous. During my trip, I visited the cafe twice. One evening, I enjoyed my Hazelnut Latte by the big window and the next day I came back for brunch. Started with an Americano, followed by French Toast which tasted well but was a bit dry for my liking. Next was mushroom corn bruschetta which was delicious. Also tried the waffle which was okay. I visited Cafe by Mongas at Dalhousie and ordered thin crust chicken fiesta pizza, nutella waffle, moccachino, and fish and chips. All the food items were freshly prepared, well-cooked, and delicious. The pizza had a crispy crust and a generous amount of toppings, the waffle was soft and fluffy with a rich chocolate sauce, the moccachino was creamy and aromatic, and the fish and chips were crunchy and tender. The restaurant had a good location and cozy interiors with a nice view of the hills. Above all, the service was their best quality. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. They took our orders quickly, served us promptly, and checked on us frequently. I had a wonderful time at the cafe and I would highly recommend...
