During my recent trip to the Cafe Hp49, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that stole my heart and left me in awe. Nestled on the tranquil bank of a flowing river, this café truly provided an unforgettable experience. I am delighted to share my five-star review of this magical place.

From the moment I stepped foot inside the café, I was captivated by its warm and inviting ambiance. The rustic wooden decor, adorned with tasteful mountain-themed elements, created a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The large windows offered breathtaking views of the majestic mountains and the serene river flowing just a stone's throw away. It felt like a sanctuary amidst nature's embrace.

The café's staff were not only friendly but also exuded a genuine passion for their craft. Their knowledge and expertise in the menu were evident, as they effortlessly guided me through the vast array of culinary delights. The attention to detail and care they put into each dish was truly commendable.

Speaking of the food, it was an absolute delight for the senses. The café showcased a menu that beautifully fused local flavors with international influences. Every bite was a symphony of flavors, prepared with the freshest ingredients. From the delicate pastries to the mouthwatering main courses, each dish was a work of art that satisfied both my taste buds and my soul.

One cannot speak of this café without mentioning their exceptional coffee. As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I was blown away by the richness and depth of each cup. The baristas were true masters of their craft, creating intricate latte art that showcased their skill and passion. Each sip transported me to a state of bliss, and I found myself longing for more.

What truly set this café apart was its idyllic location. Surrounded by nature's magnificence, I could not resist spending hours on the outdoor patio, sipping my coffee while being serenaded by the gentle melody of the river. It was a haven of tranquility and allowed me to disconnect from the fast-paced world and reconnect with the beauty of the present moment.

In conclusion, my experience at this café was nothing short of magical. The combination of breathtaking views, delectable food, and outstanding service created an oasis that left an indelible mark on my heart. If you find yourself venturing to the mountains, make sure to visit this hidden gem by the riverbank. It is an experience that will stay with you long after your journey ends.

Thank you to the entire team at the café for providing such a memorable and enchanting experience. I cannot wait to return and create new cherished memories in this little slice...

I don't know how this place is so overrated. But the staff is just so arrogant. I called them to ask how to visit from my resort adjoining the cafe. He told me there is a small gate , I couldn't find the gate I told him to come out to his outside seating area and point out. He says he can't. I asked him is there a way from the river side he said neeche utar k dekhlo seediyan hain to upar chad aana. We climbed down but found no stairs. Finally we somehow reached the restaurant since we found out the small gate. We saw one bald guy stuck to his seat and asked him where is menu, he didn't show us the menu and said abhi main busy hu. He did not give us any table and remained stuck to his seat fiddling with his mobile , we sat on the table we liked no one came to take our order. I again went to the counter where this bald guy was sitting and asked will be send someone to take the order. He again says he is busy but he was doing absolutely nothing just sitting and fiddling with his mobile. I said give me anything you can make quickly he said abhi ek ghanta lagega. Although there were only three persons sitting in the restaurant. Now I don't know whether this step motherly treatment was given by this bald guy only to me or its with any other guest as well. But they didn't seem...

Extremely OVERHYPED. We heard about this as a mist visit/cute cafe in this area and we did everything we could to visit it. How to reach. It is on the opposite side of the river where vehicles cannot go, then how to go. Reach up to the closest point, Park your car and then walk 700 meters through a very very narrow trail covered from plants both sides, a lot of wh9cu is a plant that has thorns on its leaves and will leave your hand numb :'( It makes it really difficult if you come back from this place after sunset. Overpriced menu, like really overpriced with very small portions of food. What we ordered Chicken momos - good but small momos, 6 for 150 Veg momos - good Pao bhaji- the pao served was so small I can't explain. 180 rs Veg Manchurian with noodles.. bad 220+ 180 Menu mentioned cold drinks and water = 2x MRP

Not sure if the raving reviews in the previous posts are from genuine reviewers or paid punters. Except the location, I did not find anything worthwhile in this restaurant, especially the food. There are 2 ways to reach the restaurant, either through a manual zipline operated manually by their staff or through an underbridge. If coming via underbridge u would need to walk at least quiet a bit to reach the restaurant. Zipline charges are 100 rs per person. We ordered pizza on the menu for kids only to find later that it was not available. Fried rice and manchurian we ordered was overly salty. Chicken sandwich was passable. Rajma rice were the only saving grace. Lemon soda was great too. The service was mediocre, ambiance not so great. I would avoid visiting this one for food.

Well, apart from being an eye candy place - we stopped by this place only because it looked so pretty, Sharma ji at Cafe 49 serves yummy food as well. This beautiful cafe is the other side of the river and looks stunning at night. You can see the pictures from other reviews. The zip-line to this place is very fun looking experience, though we didn't take this because we had a kid with us and wouldn't risk him getting too excited on the ropeway. You could drive down the bridge, just 500mtrs back.. park by the side of the bridge and walk down few hundred meters to reach this place. Nice vibe, beautiful location, good food and always happy to serve Sharma Ji and his staffs.
