Himalayan Trout Fish Farm — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

A place in kullu and manali where you can sit and enjoy fresh farm trout fish.... They have an activity area in there farm....... I am pure vegetarian but I visited this place so many times along with my relatives.... And till today I remembered the comments which they said.... "Aise machi nhi khayi" Aaj pheli baar samne samne dekha machi kaise nikalte" "Fresh hai bilkul aur khane me bhi tasty"

I think there best part is that they serve fishes direct from farm....

They have activity zone also, in which you can do wall climbing, zip line, archery, wall rappelling and burma bridge.....

And I used to take tea there... Mint tea is also an good option there.

They have so many kinds of birds also...

Owner and staff is soft spoken and always have smiles on face.

When we went there, I was a bit annoyed as I was thinking what to see in a fish farm. But once I got inside, I was really impressed. This farm is farming a very special kind of fish which is only available on the high current himalayan rivers. And their farming technology is really nice. They made small dam to divert Beas river water to their farm and the natural river water is passing through their numbers of fish ponds. So there is a natural current on the ponds, which is essential for this Trout fish to grow. Also they have a nice restaurant inhouse and you can order fish and the kitchen will cook you the most fresh fish. Price is very resonable and the fish is served with garden fresh Salad. Nice place to have the trout fish. We have visited it twice. We ordered fried fish with 2 sauses both the times. The first time the taste of fish and sauces complemented eachother very well but 2nd time i think there was a change in one of the sauce recipie and consistency was runny. Would prefer the sauces we had in the first time. Other than that everything was perfect, the salad they put in the dish is cut just before plating from the little garden they have on the farm.
