Noxx Residency — Restaurant in Howrah

We stayed there from Sep 12-18, 2025.

I must say, this is the WORST HOTEL I have ever stayed in. The moment we entered, the strong pungent, nauseous odour of black phenyle greeted. They use this everyday in the washrooms ans corridors. I had to literally beg them to do something about this. Then they sprayed bottles of godrej aer room freshners everywhere which made matters even worse.

The deluxe rooms which we had booked were like dungeons - no light, no ventillation. All rooms in noxx don't have fans and their ACs don't work properly at all. It was torture to stay in these rooms.

Almost every possible washroom has water leakage through the AC pipes which were connected inside the washroom. There were no buckets / mugs. No geyser. We would be given an immersion coil to heat water. Please note ours was a big group which had booked 7 rooms.

Complementary breakfast was very much below average and they served the same - poori and alu bhaji every single day.

The food served at the event - Sep 13 and 14 was stale. Two types of chutneys, the saambaar - all had gone bad on both the days. Paneer was very very synthetic and plasticky and has a strong stench of something definitely that could not only be eaten, but also smelt.

We wanted to get away from there aftrer the event but we had made full payment for the next three nights.

The hotel doesn't even have a cancellation policy. After lot of requests, they agreed for only a 50% refund which was not aggreeable. Finally after two days of constant requests they agreed to upgrade our rooms to super deluxe for the same price. Nothing but the size of the rooms changed.

The incharge person Monalisa is not at all guest friendly and so are the others. House keeping staff were courteous but not well trained at all.

The worst thing was this hotel doesn't have the facility for water refilling. Two complementary bottles of packaged water were given everyday and additional bottles were charged on mrp. Filtered /RO water is not available in this restaurant.

And this for a steep room tariff too. We really felt cheated.

Please do not consider staying here at all. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Located beside drainage cannal road Noxx is a well known restaurant in the town. Noxx serves wide range of food item,from soup to dessert. They have indoor sitting, outdoor sitting,bar,roof top cafe . Ambience wnd service is so good. But taste for most of the items are average. Pricing is reasonable for most of the items. As I called th, they kept on delay the delivery time. So I had to cancel the order. I had soo many guests and they were not served. It was a face loss for me. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.✔️I ordered food twice from here for home delivery & i got 10% discount on my first order. 🔶Location - opposite howrah indoor stadium 🔶Food- 🔹garlic butter naan- The naan was very soft and chewy , had ample garlic and was perfectly buttered. 1 naan is enough for 1 person as it comes in 2 slices. 🔹kasuri methi chicken - This is one of the tastiest chicken dish i have ever had. The gravy is simply mouthewatering. It had 4 pcs of chicken. but it came with a lit of oil 🔹Thin crust margarita pizza - Came in 8 slices and had a very thin crust. it was medium cheesy. Not the best when it comes to pizza but not bad either.Taste was good . My experience with Noxx was extremely horrible, which I never expected from a reputed organization. I have huge regret for choosing Noxx for my engagement (Apri 2024) and marriage ceremony(26th-29th Aug 2024). During engagement they provided service which was good and gave false hope regarding marriage arrangements. 2. Groom family came from Hyderabad and stayed 3 days during marriage ceremony at Noxx. Rooms were extremely unhygienic ( mice was there in every room) after repeatedly informing them they literally ignored. 3.We have selected our breakfast, lunch,evening,snacks and dinner menu for our guests( both veg and non veg) they charged non veg plate but they served veg items to our guests. We have informed Monalisa ma'am(incharge) for keeping all arrangements ready to welcome our honourable guest WB Minister ( Mr. Arup Roy) but literally nothing they done, even welcome drink also they didn't serve. We were calling her at that moment several times but she escaped. We are ashamed and very disappointed that we failed to welcome our honourable guest. Food quality was very low (few of my guests became sick due to stomach issue, one guest had to run hospital to take saline) also quality was too much less in food packets.

They literally cheated us, looted our money,charged huge amount of money but their service was disgusting. I literally regret every moment for choosing Noxx for my big day event. I am requesting all the customers who are planning to arrange their any special day event with Noxx, please enquire properly before booking if u don't want to spoil your special event also your hard earned money....
