🔰I hopped in to this newly opened resturant for dinner after a movie.
🔶Location - opposite to howrah indoor stadium adjacent to Noxx.
🔶Ambience - this is a tribal themed dine-in restuarant with ample, spacious seating arrangement.
🔶Food - They have cocktail , mocktail both and cover indian chinese italian and continental cuisine. we ordered - 🔺Gondhoraj fish - this is a starter of 6 pieces very soft and tender vetki. tastes amazing and melts in mouth. its a must try. 🔺Garlic naan - This was like any other garlic naan. Soft and buttery. 🔺Kolhapuri chicken - This is an average chicken side dish which comes in 4 pieces with ample gravy. Gravy tastes sweet and spicy. 🔺Panco chicken - This is a must try dish from the continental cuisine. 6 pieces of crunchy chicken strips, perfectly tender and juicy , comes ywith mayo dip. Tastes delicious 🔺Chicken skewers - Again one of the continental chicke starters, comes in skewers ,nicely cooked and chicken pieces are tender. 🔺Chicken Biriyani - The biriyani tastes average, but the quantity is more than enough for one person, comes with egg, and 4 huge chicken pieces. 🔺Chocolate Milkshake - Tasted amazing with perfect amount of sweetness.
🔷Staffs are polite and courteous.
⚠️The only 2 problems here are - 🔺as Noxx is connected to this restuarant the music from the disco is too loud and very irritating to the ears. 🔺each dish takes 15-20 mins to arrive even though the restuarant was not crowded. othetwise i would have rated 5 stars.
🔶Price - Our bill came to ₹2000 including all the food items mentioned above and also 120 ml of antiquity blue and taxes.
🔰Overall, this place is a must try for food lovers who love to...
Read moreService & quality of the food is very pathetic. Interior is immaturedly odd & cheap thinking of designing. It could be better even to match its name. Ambience is just ok with uncomfortable seating arrangement. One can realize that it a was bar cum restaurant before Covid (if I'm not wrong) & now they are saying it's a family restaurant. I was feeling awkward when my five yrs son was drinking water from a glass meant for serving hard drinks. Inspite of several request, they could not arrange a small & suitable glass for my son. Price is like first line of restaurant & even more higher in comparison to their quality, service & comfort of beingin a restaurant. We ordered a kind of starter dish, they served a different dish by mistake. I talked to the service men twice to be sure that they are confident to serve Continental dishes. They said they are good at it. We ordered, they served half cooked food. When I brought it to their notice, they even did not regret. I could not expect more. It looks like they only see the money, nothing else. And, yes, I happened to be there with my family for a dinner....
Read moreFood was Good . We ordered veg food - plain naan and butter naan and mushroom green peas masala. The gravy was not that spicy and creamy which we like. There is no excess amount of oil. The naan s were soft and not too buttery. Also ordered Hot Gulab Jamun. One thing I have to mention here is that they provide one litre of bisleri bottle - WHICH IS NOT COMPLEMENTARY ( please note this ) and it costs 40 rupees ( which is double of the MRP). So while ordering food please remember this. The staff are well behaved. Ambience is Different and Apt with the name 'Congo'. One more thing - before giving an order please ask them whether the menu price is the updated one or not. Because the price of Two gulab jamun is - 35 rupees in the scanned menu, but we had to pay 48 rupees as it was not updated in the scanned menu ( They have Table Scanner for Menu and Payment). Another day also went there and tried there non-veg...
