I’ve dined at this restaurant three times, and while I appreciate their air-conditioned dining hall, I’ve noticed some issues with their seating policy. The hall is divided into two sections: one for vegetarian dining and the other for non-vegetarian dining. Both sections have similar tables, chairs, and ambiance, making the separation seem unnecessary to me.
Whenever the non-vegetarian section is full, guests are not permitted to sit in the vegetarian area, even if there are plenty of open seats. This strict policy is especially inconvenient for solo diners, as they are directed downstairs to a standing area, rather than being allowed to sit in the available seats. It feels restrictive and somewhat unfair, especially when there is ample seating available in the vegetarian section.
This seating rule has made my experience less enjoyable, as it forces diners to eat in less comfortable conditions even when there’s clearly space available. It would be more considerate if the restaurant allowed diners to sit wherever there is an open spot in the air-conditioned hall, rather than making such rigid distinctions. Allowing guests the flexibility to sit where space is available would surely make for a more pleasant...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at [Animutyalu]
I recently visited Animutyalu and had a subpar experience. The service was poor, and we were expected to carry our food from the ground floor to the first floor ourselves.
Upon reaching the first floor, we found separate lobbies for veg and non-veg customers. Although the veg lobby was empty, the staff refused to seat us there. This was disappointing, especially given the rude behavior.
To make matters worse, the air conditioning was not working, making the atmosphere uncomfortable.
The only redeeming aspect was the food. The mutton pieces were tender and boneless, which was impressive. We opted for the unlimited mutton combo, which was the highlight of our visit.
Rating: 3/5 for unlimited mutton combo Rating 2/5 for joint piece
Pros: Soft and boneless mutton pieces
Cons: Poor service, inconvenient food pickup, rude staff, non-functional AC, and restrictive seating.

The food? Simply outstanding! Every dish was packed with authentic flavors, showcasing the richness of traditional cuisine. My absolute favorite was the Chittimuthyalu rice with prawns—the taste was heavenly and left me craving for more. The chicken dishes were also a highlight—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.
