Al Aqwan Bait Al Mandi — Restaurant in Hyderabad

I visited this place along with my friends and ordered a chicken mandi and mutton mandi. Chicken mandi was bold but mutton mandi meat was full of fat. Prices are reasonable. Family dining is an upscale place on first floor. I also visited this place with family and ordered Chicken mandi, Mutton mandi and Tandoori chicken. Meat of mutton mandi was not adequate. Tandoori chicken at ₹260/- was awesome. First the waiter refused to bring tandoori chicken by saying that it takes 30 mins to get prepared. As it was peak time and families are coming all over, we asked him not to worry about time we can have patience for tandoori chicken. No wonder in less than 15 mins he brought yummy chicken tandoori. I recommend to carry drinking water as they offer only bottled water (₹20/-). It would be better for the restaurant to offer normal...

The place ambience is good and the food too, some improvements are needed in maintaining washrooms.

We had tandoori chicken mandi (half bird) at this place. Which was pretty much enough for two persons. Tandoori chicken pieces were tasty, The main problem with it was over burnt but as I said taste was superb.

Rice was long, flavoured sprinkled with slices of carrots, cabbage,fried onions and datesand well cooked, eat before it cools down.

The sauce given to us were mayonnaise and tomato puree, both were freshly made by them, I liked the mayonnaise but I was not a fan having fresh tomato puree but it was edible and neat just like a homemade one.

Food quality and taste both are superb but the service is PATHETIC, The Worst! I have ordered Fish Mandi and Mutton Mandi, after 30 minutes they came with only one plate with two piece (chicken & fish), explained them again that I need two one with mutton and one with fish, they took more 15 minutes and came back again with one plate and two pieces in it. I have to shout again to make him understand what I need. Hope they improve their service soon but till then be prepared for surprises and control your hunger and anger both after ordering. And pls, NEVER order Fruit Salad in deserts, its just a custard paste with a few sapota...
