Gol Banglow Unique Dining - Taj Falaknuma — Restaurant in Hyderabad

This is my 3rd visit to the palace. Bad experience, food was worse, service was the worst! We took our clients to have them experience the amazing Hyderabadi legacy and great food. The tour started 15 mins late and the tour guide was rushing. At the Gol bungalow restaurant, food started to come in, but between every course, it took at least 20-30 mins! Apparently there was a other event at the 100 seater dining table, maybe why less staff and slow service, but should we suffer due to that? The food, the taste was below average - the dal was salt-less, we informed the server and he didn't seemed to be able to anything about it. The biryani was flavorless, even the client said they had better biryani at their hotel. Qawwali had to start at 8.30pm but started by 9.15pm and ended in 20 or 30 mins. It was the first time I heard a medley of Qawwali songs with 4 lines of each song. The service was the worst - the only thing they had control over that evening but didn't do anything about! We're definitely not going there...

My husband and I went here to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary last weekend and I must say It was the most regal and romantic dinner date . We were taken on palace trail and I was amazed at the beauty and history of the palace . Food was top notch 🤤 We were treated like the king and the queen of the day . The lamb broth ,lamb cooked on hot stone and pan ice cream & double ka mitta being my favourite 🤩🤩. We booked the 9pm slot so we missed the Sufi live music which we were looking forward to but they made up for it. Mr Subham, Aditya and Rohit played a vital role in making sure we had the best of time and even offered a garnish chocolate cake,roses and cards to make our anniversary a memorable one… I would definitely return here again … luv luv luv the place 😍😍😍😍 and certainly a 7 🌟 rating...
