Me and my son went to this outlet for lunch.
Located in the road opposite the Mahankali temple, this is housed in a small portion on the 1st floor. (You may have to notice a board that routes to the small portion / staircase for the Bhojanalay..chances are that you might miss it). This is a very old building but have been maintained clean and neat - that gives a positive vibe. This could accommodate around 34 people at a time in a neatly maintained environment. Please remember that you need to remove your shoes / footwear before entering (that looks little untidy in the whole complex)
Coming to the food, they serve Thali - which is served with Roti, 3 types of Sabzi, Dal, Kadi, Rice (all unlimited), Papad and Curd.
Kadi was the pick of the meals. I liked it very much. It was slightly hot, but at the same time not too hot too (just the temperature needed to taste the Kadi). When we went they had prepared Mutter Ki Sabzi, Alu Fry and Carrot (Ghajar) ka Sabzi. All the 3 Sabzis were good. Especially I loved the Mutter and Alu Fry for the Roti. As part of the Thali, they serve Roti (Butter Phulka) and also the Masala Roti (many don't know about the varieties and hence might be eating only the plain roti) and also Dal Khichdi. Khichdi was very good. I liked the consistency and taste. Curd was kind of ok ok. My son ordered Dry Fruit Lassi, which was very good.
Cost is also decent for the offer they give. It's Rs 180. On Sunday they have the Rajasthani Thali, that's is served with Dal Batti Churma. It's priced at Rs 220.
Service could have been slightly better - especially in serving those Roti (sometime they say..this is the Roti available and you need to push them)
I definitely prefer going to these kind of outlets when i am hungry and want a good...
Read moreI would not even give one star to such places. There’s no place to park cars Highly congested location Washroom is so smelly🤮 , at the entrance Once you climb the stairs, all footwear at the entrance. That’s also where hand wash area is where there is no water coming . Food lacked taste, varieties , in the mango season there is no aamras or any sweet. I don’t even know what is Marwari thali here? Check my image , it’s just a regular boring tasteless thali Plates spoons, tumbler and other things on the table were dirty..we just wanted to gulp and get out of the place. Last but not the least , never order Lassi there because restaurant gets it from the shop downstairs which is next to smelly washrooms🤮 We went all the way from hitech city reading the google reviews, it’s not even one star worth. When I asked them about aamras, owner said it’s a busy day, they were focusing less on walk-ins but more on...
