⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good Food, Mixed Experience – Great for Friends, Not Ideal for Families
Hi all! Me, my dad, elder sister, younger sister, her husband (my brother-in-law / Chinna Bava garu), and my nephew visited The Avenue Bar and Kitchen on 07-06-2025 to celebrate my dad’s birthday (6th June) and my younger sister’s birthday (7th June). This treat was given by my dad.
🍽️ Food we ordered:
Chilli Garlic Noodles - Chicken (my nephew’s favorite)
Kothmir Chilli Chicken
Boiled Peanuts
Butter Roti
Plain Roti
Kadai Paneer
Pachi Mirchi Kodi Pulao
Brownie with Ice Cream
🍹 Drinks ordered:
. Corona 330ml (2 qty) – for my Chinna Bava garu
. Bacardi White 30ml (2 qty) – for my father
. Sprite Can (1 qty)
. Water Bottles (2 qty)
💰 Total bill: ₹3304/- (including taxes)
🍛 Food Review: Almost everything was delicious and satisfying, except the Kothmir Chilli Chicken, which was a disaster. It tasted more like prawns than chicken, and the aroma was totally off – not at all pleasant.
🙅♂️ Personal Note: Though I drink socially, I don’t drink in front of my father – it’s out of respect. But just saying, outside of that… I’m a pro alcoholic guy 😄 lol.
🌃 Ambience: The place is spacious with outdoor seating, best enjoyed at night. But they lack enough fans or coolers, so it can get warm. The location is a bit off, next to a function hall, and there's no proper signboard – easy to miss.
🚗 Parking: No valet parking – you have to manage on your own. The entrance staff (especially the male staff) were not approachable and slightly rude, but...
👨🍳 Service inside was great – the staff were friendly and attentive once we were seated.
👨👩👧👦 Final Thoughts: This place is awesome for hanging out with friends – budget-friendly, tasty food, and chill vibes. Maybe not ideal for family outings due to the location and surroundings, but it depends on your comfort level.
✅ Would I come again? Yes, but only with friends – not for a family...
Read moreWe went on a Saturday evening and it was moderately occupied. The restaurant is tucked slightly off the main road, which is still convenient and disconnects you from busy roads. The place has ample parking with a helper guiding you to the spots.
The host at the entrance was friendly and welcoming. He checked us in by signing into a register with a name and mobile number. We were given an option to sit in the covered area (including overhead area one level above) or the open garden space with half walls on all four sides, with a way to exit from side. The place was lit with low lightning giving you a calm and cozy vibe. Best part was the none of the tables are behind the closed walls and this gives you a sense of fresh air, fun atmosphere and easy to move around. I noticed people are more relaxed and chattier compared to closed spaces.
The food was delicious and well-prepared. I had the Bheja Fry, Ghee Roast Chicken, Chicken Lollipop, Peri peri Prawns, Mutton Nalli Pulao, and Mutton Keema Pulao. Everything was perfectly cooked and had a decent spice. The starters and side items were also tasty. The rice items were not as good as the other dishes, but they were still enjoyable.
The service was also excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. He made sure that we had everything we needed and served us well. The ambience was also nice. The restaurant was comfortable and relaxed. We had a great time chatting and enjoying our drinks and meal.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good place to...

We visited recently and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and polite, making you feel right at home. Their service was prompt and attentive, which added to the pleasant dining experience.
We tried their pasta, and it was genuinely tasty—well-cooked with a good balance of flavors. While we only sampled one dish this time, the rest of the menu looked promising, with a variety of options suitable for both casual diners and food enthusiasts.
