The Exotic Shawarma — Restaurant in Hyderabad

A Disappointing Experience Hello food lovers, I recently visited The Exotic Shawarma and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had.

I ordered a chicken sandwich, chicken red sauce pasta, a cappuccino, and a Thumbs Up. After placing the order, I waited for over 30 minutes without any update. When I finally asked the staff about my order, they casually informed me that the chicken sandwich wasn’t available. That should have been communicated much earlier.

Trying to stay calm and not ruin my mood, I accepted the remaining items. But honestly, I regret it. The pasta was absolutely terrible — probably the worst I’ve ever had. The coffee was so bad that I wouldn’t even call it coffee. It tasted awful. I also ordered their so-called special shawarma, which turned out to be just as disappointing.

To make things worse, the staff was unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. They seemed clueless about how to treat customers and didn’t show any interest in making the experience better.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. If you love good food and decent service, this is not the place for you. Save your money and find somewhere that actually values its customers and serves quality food.

Visited The Exotic Shawarma and honestly, it was a mixed experience. If you're looking for vegetarian food then this place is not for you cuz it is specialized for non veg items. We tried the Chocolate Brownie Thick Shake (which was yummm) and Cheese & Corn Nuggets (absolutely loved them!). However, the Arrabiata Pasta completely ruined it for us.

We specifically asked the server (Her name was Shravanti) for a spicy pasta recommendation, and she suggested the Arrabiata Pasta. But when it arrived, it was overwhelmingly sweet, more like ketchup pasta—totally not what we were looking for. When we raised this, her attitude was really off—rolling eyes, giving us looks, and acting annoyed like we were bothering her.

We even asked if they could adjust it with some cheese/cream (and were happy to pay extra), and after reluctantly taking it back, she did make some changes. It was slightly better but still not the best tho.

Honestly, this kind of service really ruins the vibe. The food could be better with more clarity from the staff, and a little kindness...

All fake reviews. Owner has been buying reviews. Plz go through them as they are posted continuously on the same day with just one account one review. Very spicy and stale Shawarma and very pathetic costumer complaints redressal. Order food at your risk. Quality and service now has gone to toss. This outlet needs FCI inspection ( Complaint already registered to them also online). My friend has ordered eight shawarmas with two fries. We all friends during our get together usually orders shawarma as we all belong to different parts of country and we are very fond of Hyderabadi shawarma. Just one bite taken and no one could take another bite as it was so damn spicy..(we all are spicy food lovers.. but this was next level) We just wanted to bring to the notice of the restaurant but the manager was unethically unapologetic. He was sure that it was not very spicy at all and we are wasting time by calling and informing him. Just a sorry could have sorted and not elevated to this level. But we can understand such training has to be provided by the owners...
