We went here for lite breakfast as we were full eating tandoori momos at moon delight.
We tried Onion dosa, Ghee karam idli and Mysore bonda. Out of which Ghee Karam idli was very very very good and crazyyyyyyyyy, tasty, fabulous and what not. The Karam was also so tasty but not spicy. Staff is super fast and Splendid, It took me 6 minutes in the line for ordering the food from the counter ( I can understand that the time when I visited here(1am) was closing time.) Though it is closing time I got my Ghee karam idli and Onion dosa including 2 pieces of Bonda in just 4 minutes, and it was over crowded.
Apart from Ghee karam dosa, the Onion dosa and Mysore bonda was also so tasty and Onion were finely chopped, carrot was also included while stuffing the Onion dosa. Dosa has different level of Crispness, Everything here is super tasty just like Hari dosa from Ameerpet. However the White chutney(Pallilu/Groundnut) and red(Allam/Ginger) chutney are on different level, i personally ate all the white chutney, it was so yummy and I felt like Paisa vasoool here. Though the price is bit high but the taste and service is higher than this.
This place can completely beat Chutneys too. We have finished our food super quickly. Quality of food is also very impressive. Would like to visit this place again and again in the future for sure. Thank you Varalakshmi Tiffins for such good food...
Read moreAn epitome of a high quality tiffin centre, serving many popular South Indian breakfast options, namely idlys dressed with chilli powder and bathed in ghee, dosas which crispy on the outside and soft in the inside and mouth-watering Mysore bondas, that guarantee heavenly experience when dipped in peanut chutney, which is, by far, the best I’ve ever had. While relishing the wonderful items served by Varalakshmi Tiffins, It would suffice to say that the rich taste of the freshly made tiffin items left a lasting impression in my mind and my tongue. The service is comparatively better than other tiffin centres in the area and it definitely deserves a full five star rating, mainly because of the hard work of the staff and the vision of the owner who clearly cares about the customer’s experience, and has carved a niche for himself in providing outstanding service to customers in the bustling Gachibowli city area. The overall look, feel and atmosphere is captivating enough to entice the people to have a plate of one of Varalakshmi’s most celebrated tiffins. This eatery promises and delivers an authentic, one of a kind and unforgettable dining experience which only a handful of Hyderabadi tiffin centres can boast of. Will certainly pay another visit. Must try for tiffin lovers and hungry hi-tech city employees!! Kudos to Varalakshmi owner...
Read moreIf you’re looking for authentic South Indian breakfast that captures the real flavours of Hyderabad, Varalakshmi Tiffins is truly a gem. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of fresh dosas, steaming idlis, and sizzling chutneys immediately sets the mood for a hearty, homely meal.
The first thing that stands out about Varalakshmi Tiffins is the consistency in taste. Whether you visit the Gachibowli, Kukatpally, or any other branch, you’re welcomed with the same high-quality food and familiar flavour that keeps regulars coming back every morning. Their Ghee Karam Idli is nothing short of legendary — soft, fluffy idlis soaked in aromatic ghee and topped with their signature spicy karam podi. The moment you take a bite, it melts in your mouth, perfectly balancing spice and richness. The Ghee Karam Dosa is equally outstanding, crisp on the edges and soft in the middle, layered with ghee that enhances the taste beautifully.
The chutneys are another highlight. You get multiple varieties — coconut, red, and groundnut — each freshly prepared and full of authentic flavour. Unlike many other places, their chutneys taste homemade and complement the tiffins perfectly. The upma, vada, and podi dosa are also worth trying. For anyone who enjoys traditional breakfast, every item on the menu feels like it’s made with...
