Hello guys, Have heard so much about oye pappe, have heard things like, if u are a true indori then u will love the place. So i finally decided to visit the place, the place is a little ahead from bhawar kua square.
Ambiance is simple normal, one room with a counter in the corner 5-6 table for 4 to sit, brown wall with quotes on it.
Menu has some good punjabi dishes and options like pav bhaji , chole kulcha, rice, paratha, paneer and nan.
Now talking about the food, i ordered tandoori paneer tikka, butter panner tadka and butter nan. the panner tikka and butter nan were outstanding, in fact i didnt had so good nan in small places. They give the nan exactly as it should be (soft and thin). But butter panner tadka was a little taste less so that i didnt like.
Food experience was good, but they should work a little on hospitality and service, like there should be water and tissue on the table or should be given after the order is placed. i had to ask for tissues so many times that it annoyed me and same goes with the water.
Overall pocket friendly, taste is good and i will recommend it, I myself will be visiting the place soon for the trying the stuff like butter pav bhaji or paneer...
Read moreThe ambience is good and funny. You gets excited when you just step in. This was the first time and I went with my group of friends.
Firstly it has only one table where 8 people can sit together else you have to sit on two tables. The order needs to be prepaid and you can add more items while eating like extra pao by paying extra for obvious. One thing that fretted me was Extra bhaji is not complimentary and you also need to pay for that. Apart one more dish we have there was cheesy pao(if I am not wrong with the name). It cost 120 each but it was waste of money only as it was so salty that we were not able to eat it and it made the taste of prior dish to be vain. No action were taken to replace it by the service staff and we have to waste our money.
The taste was good for first but the last experience made a very bad impact on all of us.
We would suggest you to hangout there but do instruct with the quantity of spices beforehead and if anything goes wrong just inform them with...
