Chawla's Restaurant — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

I visited this place few days ago and I really loved what they serve. It is located in Sodala just in the opposite street of Lazeez under Hotel Laxmi Palace which is a prime location however it's in the street makes it less noticeable. The detailed review is as follows:

▶️ Ambience - The ambience was pretty okay with low lighting and adequate space to host 30-40 guests. It was not very appealing but it wasn't bad either.

▶️ Service - Service at this place was extremely amazing as the staff was polite and serving dishes in very less time .

▶️ Food - In Starting I had a second thought about the food taste before eating it as I never heard about it so much earlier but as soon as I tasted the food, I fell in love with the taste. Whatever I ordered is mentioned below -

Hot and Sour Soup Tomato Soup Paneer Tikka Chicken Tandoori Chicken Afghani Spring Rolls Veg Manchurian Veg Noodles Paneer Butter Masala Paneer Takatak Butter Naan Missi Roti Veg Biryani

Everything I ordered was pretty good and value for money . Paneer Takatak is a must try at this place and if you are a non vegetarian then do try their chicken Tandoori and Chicken Afghani as it was just awesome. I don't have words to express that.

P.S - They serve Meetha Paan as dessert and it's their speciality. It was just amazing. So when you visit this place then do ask for it after...

I have been an admirer of this restaurant since 2008, having visited it many times every year since. But yesterday’s experience left me so shocked, baffled and disappointed that I have decided not to visit this place again. My wife and I came here yesterday and ordered a mutton seekh kabab and chicken tikka, our perennial favourites. As we took our first bite of the mutton tikka, it appeared that the world just exploded around us. It was so terribly spicy with such a huge load of red chilli powder that tears started running down our eyes. I was heartbroken. The chicken too was extraordinarily spicy. We sent back the half eaten stuff with a complaint. We expected a partial refund or at least a word of regret, but nothing came forth. So we paid the bill and left with fumes of pepper coming out from wherever it could. No Chawla’s, not done. I have always promoted your place on Twitter and Instagram, but today I felt terribly let down. Hope you cut down on spices or you’ll lose faithful...

Chawla's restaurant a restaurant where we had only the main course as we were craving for roti and curry after a few days . As we were tourists to jaipur we only found this place near to us. This place has a decent ambience and has a good amount place to sit. We ordered chicken lollipop as a starter as a basic starter needs. The taste was great and also we ordered butter roti with butter chicken and chole batura. The rotis were normal but the butter chicken was good with boneless chicken had the correct tenderness and increased the taste.
