Falahaar & Kota Kachori — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

I lived almost a year in Kota during my studies. There our usual breakfast were indori poha with jalebi and kachori. Kachori is the signature snack of Kota have the taste is unique. Two small Kachori with chutney was amazing. Hoping the same taste and expectations I brought daal and pyaz Kachori from Falahaar & Kota Kachori but somewhat disappointed.

They don’t know how to make pyaz Kachori. It was tasteless. It feels like I am eating tandoori kulcha with aloo pyaz sabji. Also, the size is generally small then a jodhpuri pyaz kachori. It also overpriced as well. Now the signature daal kachori. It tastes like somewhat Kota kachori but it was too much spicy. My kids left them half eaten.

The best Kachori you can get is from here. But it's too spicy for me. Falahaar food is tasty in a budget too. But the staff actually don't pay attention to what you order. You gotta repeat 5-10 times. Otherwise it's a great place to satisfy your taste buds while on fast. (Edit) Since the last few months their food taste isn't the same and they also have increased the prices. Some of the staff members are toooooo rude. Also, they don't even give out tissues even if you ask them, don't pack Makhani Lassi without dry fruits even though they have the option to. I hope they will learn something and change their behaviour, no queue is there, someone else is served before us even though they came after us and just because they broke the line paid before...

Kota kachori is famous in jaipur, it is ture. But they provide kachori which don't have really taste of kachori . Also it is fine for jaipur locals. They try to make good. Furthermore teste is better but not fantastic like real kota kachori. If you want to find real kachori teste, go to KOTA and have eat , everywhere in kota .
