I recently visited BBQ Nation and had a wonderful experience, largely thanks to the outstanding service provided by one of the staff members, Gorav. From the moment we arrived, Gorav’s professionalism and attentiveness made a lasting impression.
First and foremost, Gorav was incredibly friendly and approachable, greeting us with a warm smile and making us feel welcomed. He took the time to explain the menu, which was especially helpful since it was our first visit. His knowledge of the various dishes and their flavors was impressive, and he patiently answered all our questions about the BBQ options and the unique concept of grilling at the table.
Throughout the meal, Gorav ensured that our experience was seamless. He was quick to bring fresh skewers to the table and check on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. What really stood out was his attention to detail—whether it was refilling our drinks without us needing to ask or bringing over extra condiments and sauces just at the right time. His timing and sense of when to bring new dishes, while making sure we weren't overwhelmed, really elevated the experience.
Beyond just being attentive to our needs, Gorav’s attitude was warm and engaging. He made small talk, making us feel comfortable and making the meal feel less like a formal dining experience and more like a relaxed and enjoyable outing with friends. He also went above and beyond by recommending some of the more popular and unique dishes on the menu, which turned out to be fantastic suggestions.
In terms of his efficiency, Gorav was extremely organized and managed the orders well, even with the busy rush during peak hours. He ensured that our table was always stocked with everything we needed, from the grill plates to the sauces, and he maintained a calm and professional demeanor, despite being busy.
What really set Gorav apart was his genuine care for the guests. It's clear that he takes pride in his work, and it made a big difference in the overall dining experience. We left BBQ Nation feeling satisfied not only by the delicious food but also by the excellent service provided by Gorav.
In conclusion, Gorav was a standout part of our visit to BBQ Nation. His professionalism, friendliness, and excellent service made our meal memorable, and we would highly recommend the restaurant—especially if you’re fortunate enough to have him serve you! His efforts truly enhanced the dining experience, and I look forward to returning, knowing that I'll receive the same high...
Read moreAccessability :
The Restraunt is situated in Greater Kailash Colony . It is easily accessible to one and all(especially the foodies).
Ambience :
The arrangements are well - ordered. There is ample of space for a large number of guests who can be entertained with manpower available. The lighting , music and comfort level was upto the mark. The washrooms are also well maintained.
Food :
Starters : Initially , Snacks service is very quick. They offer ( load ) your plates with stuff that may or may not be liked by your taste buds. However, most of them are upto the mark. But on directions ,staff is very sensititve to one's need and often your requests are catered .
Despite the fixed list of snacks , if you dont like sea food , you ll be given a choice to order something out of the box for which no extra costs are incurred.
Main Course :
It is also a delightful watch with whole lot numbers of Salads, 3-4 non veg cuisines and same no. of Veg. Dishes prepared besides offering you some yummy Biryani along side.
Breads will be served on the table as per what you'll like to have. Food is yummy but if you have had handful of snacks then your tummy will not allow to have it more.
Desserts :
This is the best part , with fruits , puddings , Custard is awesome that you would love to have it one more time. Hot chocolate Brownie and Ice-cream sundae will tempt you to have more and more . Overall , You will relish each and every item to the core.
Hospitality :
The staff was very cordial, that even if some things are left apart, hospitablity will make you forget those things. From the Guy at the reception to the Manager(who visited our table more than 5 times) , it was a pleasant experience. Because of their manners, politeness and generosity , I am sure that they must have won hearts of almost all of their Guests.
Even the Chef visited our table multiple times asking for suggestions with respect to taste and odour of the food.
P.S. : BBQ is one of its own kind of places to have a contended meal with friends and family. Its a must try...
Read moreA pathetic place to dine out while in Jammu, when comparing to other Barbeque Nation restaurants elsewhere.
Just like the idiom "ANDHO MEIN KAANA RAJA", because of not much restaurants offering barbeque buffet style dining.
The waiters will serve you every item initially, but when you ask for any item for second time - Just be prepared to wait for atleast 20-25 minutes for getting that item.
Not much variety in Veg menu at all.
Very limited side dishes in the whole Veg and Non-Veg section.
The dinner plates may get stocked out while on a normal, without so much rush - day. So be fast to grab dining plates for yourself for main course, otherwise restocking will take minimum 15 minutes, and afterwards the restaurant will restock with ordinary dining plates, which you usually see in marriage parties, instead of the official dining plates
The icecream too may get stocked out any moment, especially the paan one.
Paneer was not made available till 40 minutes in the starters for vegetarians when I visited. Although the restaurant opens at 6.30pm in the evening, and we went by 7.45pm, the waiters kept on saying that paneer is being marinated at the moment.
No Tangri Chicken available.
Finally, the cake which they provided for our anniversary - after cutting, when we tried to eat - it was tasting very bad - either it was stale or it was not fully baked. Although the waiter said that he'll bring a new one, but we didn't have another 15 minutes to just wait for cutting another cake.
Overall the worst experience I had ever at any of the Barbeque Nation...
