The service at Kolahoi Panorama Restaurant leaves much to be desired. Upon arrival, we were left waiting for an extended period before being acknowledged by the staff. The waiters seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, resulting in long delays between placing orders and receiving our meals. Additionally, requests for basic items like water refills or extra napkins were often ignored or forgotten. Food While the menu boasts an impressive array of over 100 items, the reality is far less satisfying. Many of the dishes listed were unavailable, reducing the selection to about ten options. The food that was available did not compensate for the limited choice. The quality was subpar, with dishes arriving either undercooked or over-seasoned. The flavors were unbalanced, and the presentation lacked any sense of care or creativity. Staff Behavior The behavior of the staff was indifferent at best. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism and courtesy, which significantly impacted the dining experience. Staff members were unresponsive to feedback and seemed more interested in socializing among themselves than attending to customers. This lack of attentiveness and hospitality was disappointing. Cleanliness Cleanliness is another area where Kolahoi Panorama Restaurant falls short. The dining area and restrooms were not well-maintained, with visible dirt and grime. Tables were not promptly cleared or wiped down, and the general atmosphere felt neglected and unhygienic. Management Poor management is evident throughout the restaurant. The lack of available menu items, the disorganization of the staff, and the overall cleanliness issues all point to a significant gap in effective leadership. There seems to be no effort to ensure a smooth operation or a pleasant customer experience.Kolahoi Panorama Restaurant fails to deliver on almost every front. From the lackluster service and limited food options to the indifferent staff and cleanliness issues, it’s clear that the restaurant suffers from poor management. There are far better dining options available, and I cannot recommend this restaurant in its...
Read moreThe place is on phase one of the Gandola cable car and the prices reflect the altitude/ height above the sea level! French fries for 300 rupees!! We ordered potato chilli wedges and got the French fries with some chilli! Most of the items on the menu are not available! Asked for Kashmiri tea, were told that this too won’t be available!! The ice cream parlour which is located at the entrance is beautiful but unfortunately they’ve the worst icecream. We threw all five iced creams away- all were different tates! To get over the awful taste, we had to eat the locally made ice cream sold in the ice cream carts!! However, the ambience of the place is great and the toilets are amazingly clean! Had it not for the ambience and the toilets, I would have given a...
Read moreWorst experience in Kashmir. Visit this cafe only if you “look rich” or if your a foreigner. As the only cafe available at Gulmarg phase 1 we visited this place. We waited for the table to be clean but nobody came up. One of the waiter said it was not his duty to clean the table. We literally had to beg the waiter for a menu card. They were suggesting to take buffet as the alcarte will take 30mins to prepare. But at the same time 2 or 3 waiters were serving foreign tourists. Try to avoid this place if you really don't want to spoil your day. Milkshakes are worst. Food...
