Zaiqa RESTAURANT JK TDC — Restaurant in Jammu and Kashmir

This hotel is situated at Tanmarg and also known as hotel Alpine. Booking can be done through JKTDC website.we booked 3 deluxe rooms and 1 family room during our stay. Bathrooms are clean with geysers , rooms are ok but good in size . One of the rooms had a torn Sofa. Staff is courteous. We saw some stains on the bedsheet which were changed upon request. Rooms had electric blanket and a small heater.It is a good alternative to the overpriced properties at gulmarg. Food is not good here , also the staff will ask for 'bakshish'. Towels looked old and worn out. There is a passage between the family room and its toilet which has a weird and dirty washing area. Seems like the family room was an after thought. Very nice hotel managed by Jammu and Kashmir Tourism. Hotel name is Alpine Hotel and restaurant (Also known as Zaiqa). You can check and book online. You can book this hotel as an alternative to expensive hotels in Gulmarg. We booked for around Rs 2200 per night in March 2024

Very professional service by the staff. Neat and Clean rooms maintained by staff. Rooms are very spacious with geyser , room heater and bed heating options.

This is a good place to stay in thang Marg if you could not get a hotel in gulmarg. The property is under jktdc , very neat and clean. Food is available on demand. Very spacious, room heater is available without any change. We stayed in room 205, with a scenic view. Booking done by jktdc only in 2200rs for one night two pax. You ll get sharing taxis to gulmarg only in 200rs per pax. You can also get the motor bikes for darag, 11km far from the hotel will come back within 2-3hrs. The staff were cooperative, they guided us on how to start our journey for the next day's gandola ride. You can also book the guide for the ride from here too at a low price of 500-600.
