Receiving manager lacks Compassion. I invited my 15 members from my family and had made a prior reservation for the same. Had called and confirmed with the receiving manager 24 hours in advance. Was allotted a time between 7-7:15pm. Majority (9) of us were already at the restaurant by 7:05pm but the manager stated he will only allow if all the members are in. I obliged and waited for all my members. Now given the human aspect, its practically impossible to get all 15 members across different age groups at sharp clock hours, but still I pushed. By the time all my members were there, and I requested entry; the manager said we are late by 6mins! And denied us the entry.

Like 6mins!! He couldn’t hold the table for 6 odd mins! There’s got to be some compassion involved for people who make prior reservations. I’ve been to more busy restaurants, both locally and internationally and have stood in queues. But never had to face such embarrassment and arrogance from Managers. Banjara turned all of us literally into Banjaras (with no where to go). Imagine the embarrassment of moving all 15 people to a different location.

Going through other comments, looking at the comments on food, and arrogance/crowd panic mode of management; it is a clear case of Over hype. Not sure how long this would sustain. Still waiting for a comment about people revisiting every weekend.

Also, to my earlier point for the 15 people I invited and turned Banjaras literally. I called up the next door restaurant ā€œUp and Aboveā€ and told my condition. They obliged to my request and setup an ā€˜out of format’ separate table despite being a full house on roof top.

Not comparing the two, just showing how the restaurants show compassion to...

Paid 495 just for the crockery. Horrible food and extremely horrible service especially on weekends. We called for bookin in the night and they told us to come directly and they take 20-30 minutes waitin time and then we can easily get a place. We were 7 ppl. Reached at 12.45 pm on a saturday. We got to enter the resto at 3.3p coz they werent able to manage a seating for 7 ppl. Wow.

2.food- Indian thali - Worst food in jamshedpur. The taste was horrible. Bland . Paneer had extra salt. Few items had less salt.No malpua, no dhokla as it got overĀ  and they werent apologetic about that.At the time of us paying the bill we pointed this out as a friend went there earlier and they to my surprise werent embaraased but offered us a complimentary 10 rs vanilla inccream lol in a fancy crockery.

Staff- the manager himself or the staff for that matter isnt open about healthy criticism or opinions. I pointed out to the waiter once that the the paneer is way too salty and is not edible...he made faces and even argued "hamare rajasthan me aisa hi bnta hai". They were dropping stuff on our belongings ...no tissues served , looked like they were in a hurry to close the resto. Again, IF YOU HAVE A CLOSIN TIME AS 4 PM, y would u let us in at 3 . 495 for BLAND food and PATHETIC service.

Go there on weekends and experience this first hand. Save your money and eat from small resto or the lane in bistupur thats worth every penny. Unlimited it seems, not even one dish was worth repeating..except for the rice pulao.

Spent 495 just for the fancy crockery! Not goin there even if the food is for free! P.S i ordered the indian thali not sure...

This kind of place in Jamshedpur is new, but very similar to a food chain like Rajdhani. This place serves Rajesthani food along with continental menus as well. The quality is okay and you can't complain about this place in Jamshedpur as it's 1st kind here. Cost wise its not that pricy nor economical. The restaurant is opened not even a year. When we stepped in it was almost full. They make u Weare pagriess as in the picture when they server food. Which is a feel good factor for some guests.

Good parts:

Staffs: polite and very gentle Food: okay Location: On the Merine Drive šŸš— easy to reach if u have your own vehicle Cost: moderate Quality: Fine Baby Chair: they have

Opportunity:

Table Reservations: while they are entertaining booking via calls but they must also be open during apps like DineOut, EazyDine, Zomato for table booking

Parking: no parking, you need to park outside the building

Outside the restaurant: the approach is still not that great. It's very dusty especially from the road side service lane to the restaurant

Children Menu: should introduce children menues

Cleanliness outside: while it's not the restaurant's responsibility but on a goodwill gesture they must make the approach little clean as an investment this will make feel good for its customers, or reach the mall owner to...

It was a pleasant experience to have unlimited food with good hospitality and greetings. There are 4 options to go with 1. Indian Thali 2. Continental Thali 3. Pan Asian Thali 4. A la carte Mostly people prefer Indian thali. It costs around 500+ for an unlimited indian thali. Costs are separate for mocktails/other beverages and Paan. The ambience is really good and you get a rajasthani vibes around there. There is one BANJARA who has really a very beautiful voice and he sings well the high pitched rajasthani songs. Overall the food is okaish in terms of taste but people mostly enjoy the environment and the hospitality more than the food. Since I have visited Rajdhani in Bangalore- which is a restaurant chain in India based on similar theme, I didn't felt something new but i feel it can be improved in terms of food taste and menu options can include missi roti, etc. also. Do book in advance if visiting on Tuesdays, Fridays, and weekends. Don't forget to click picture in SAFA- the Rajsthani pagdi Oh Yes! You can enjoy the camel ride in the city also which is chargeable- ₹100 per person. Enjoy the time and vibe!

Initially, I planned to try their Indian thali, but unfortunately, I arrived late. Instead, I opted for their menu. Interior was osm just like pure Rajasthani Vibe. šŸ‘ We have ordered panner, naan, lassi, hyderabadi dum biryani, virgin mojito, plain papad, green salad, and smthg like apart Vada pao for starters whiche is not so good just a pao filling with potato masala .. Food was delicious their naan, paneer and biriyani was so good..And for desert we ordered double Shahi tukda which is Average. Felt like eating milk-soaked toast with dry fruits sprinkled on top. Lacked depth and richness.(1.5/5) And mojito wasn't serve with fresh mint leaves. Friendly staff, but occasionally inattentive. A bit more focus on table service would elevate the experiencešŸ‘ -And yes it's expensive, For special occasions or those seeking authentic Rajasthani cuisine, BANJARA is worth a visit. Skip the Double Sahi Tukra, though! If possible, try their thali during lunch hours for a potentially more fulfilling experience.ā£ļøšŸ‘
