According to the location it is quite out of the main city. But if you have a car you can reach it easily since it is located at the Marine drive. Now coming to the ambience, it is average, but since it is roof top and you are with your friends you can choose any of the corners. Since it is just on the Marine drive you can get a nice view of the river Subarnarekha. Service is okay. Now about the food they are average sometimes beyond the average. If you ask them to suggest something from the menu card (sometimes you can't read it, they are lack of the light at some tables!) , They simply put you into some easy-going platter like chilli chicken, schezwan sauce etc. Simply they don't like put some out of the box menu. But l did get a good platter on fish ( Amritsar e Fish) it was good , l ordered few drinks along which they served few nuts which were soggy, l asked them bto change it they just denied. Though they served Papad when I reordered my drinks. My experience was average and I don't like to visit...

Up n Above is the jamshedpur's only restaurant that provides both inside and a roof top restaurant with such a mesmerizing view as the restaurant is situated on the banks of marine drive so you get the adorable view of the river surrounding it . Food quality is good, Yes you'll have to wait too long for food, but in that time you can taje a tour of the place. Little bit expensive as compared to other restaurants, 700 for two (starter+main course) but it's worth it, Staffs were amateur, guess they were new in their work, apart from this everything was top notch. The ambience is too good. Best place to plan celebrations and give surprises. One thing guys... If you wanna order tandoori items then do it before 5pm because they close their tandoor...

They tried to go for a rooftop type restaurant but felt short by a mile. View is blocked by unbuilt buildings. The restaurant tried to mask noises coming from the road with crass speakers with no base which made me feel someone was drilling sand paper into my ears Coming to the food They had fried oily chicken in chicken soup. Was horrible. No go for me. Fish was uncooked and burst from the outside Paneer was good. Mutton seek kabab was too hard and frankly did not taste like mutton. Afgani chicken was tender and juicy. Washroom was pretty dirty. TLDR Don't spend your money here and if someone is giving a treat, order only the traditional dishes and opt for the non rooftop setup If you prefer a bit of peace...
