Gokul Restaurant is pretty big – two floors of sitting space. The ground floor feels more like a snacks and sweets section, with a wide variety laid out. I ended up trying almost all the snacks here and honestly, everything was really good – fresh, tasty, and not at all oily like you sometimes find elsewhere.

The first floor is more of a dine-in setup, a little more premium compared to the ground floor. The menu is huge, and everything is vegetarian.

If you’re looking for a good veg restaurant in Ranchi, this is a solid option. The best part is that the food is decently priced – it won’t put a dent in your pocket – and the quality and quantity both are great.

I also ordered 100 customized food packets from them for an event, and they handled it really well. Ordered a day in advance, and the next morning everything was delivered on time. They even sell small water bottles, which was helpful last minute find. Not many places in Ranchi give early morning food packets, so this is a big plus point for Gokul.

The place is always bustling with people, which automatically tells you the food is good. Service is quick, staff is polite, and the place is kept clean.

Parking is available right in front for bikes, but for cars you’ll need to park on the side of the road – it’s free but limited space.

Overall, if you’re in Ranchi and want good quality vegetarian food, or need bulk snack/meal packets for any event, Gokul Restaurant is definitely worth...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gokul Restaurant, an Indian family restaurant, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home.

The menu at Gokul Restaurant offered a diverse range of Indian dishes, from aromatic curries to tandoori delights, and everything I tried was bursting with authentic flavors. The spices were perfectly balanced, and each dish was a delightful journey for the taste buds.

The service was attentive and friendly, with the staff happy to provide recommendations and accommodate dietary preferences. They made us feel like part of their own family, which added to the overall charm of the restaurant.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with traditional Indian decor and soothing music creating a relaxed atmosphere. It's an ideal place for family gatherings, intimate dinners, or even larger celebrations.

In summary, Gokul Restaurant is a hidden gem in the world of Indian cuisine. The delicious food, warm service, and inviting ambiance make it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful Indian dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more...

We visited Gokul Restaurant yesterday and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We ordered the Watermelon Mojito, which was nothing like what it claimed to be it had a strong agarbatti and Rooh Afza-like taste with absolutely zero trace of watermelon. It was bizarre, and frankly, unpleasant. We also tried their Pav Bhaji and Dosa, both of which were below average. The flavors were bland, and the quality was nowhere near what you’d expect, especially given the high prices they charge. What made things worse was the attitude of the staff. When we politely raised our concern about the mojito, the waiters refused to acknowledge the issue. They blamed it on the air or temperature seriously? No apology, no attempt to make things right, just excuses. We left the watermelon mojito as it was and they were not even ashamed. Overall, it’s overpriced, underwhelming, and not worth your time or money. Definitely not recommending this place unless you're in the mood for disappointment.

Gokul restaurant is an absolutely disgusting dining experience. The sunhari paneer was overly sweet and lacked any real flavor, while the tandoori soya chap was dry and flavorless. The raj kachori was stale and seemed to have been sitting around for a long time. The tomato soup was watery and lacked any real tomato flavor. The paneer handi had a strange odor and the soya chaap masala was undercooked and had a rubbery texture. The missi roti was hard and stale, while the tandoori roti was dry and overcooked. The restaurant's hygiene was poor, with dirty utensils and tables. The service was slow and unresponsive, with staff showing no interest in the needs of the customers. Prices were high for the poor quality of food and service, making it a terrible value for money. Overall, Gokul restaurant is a disgusting and unsanitary place to eat, and should be avoided at all costs.
