Hi friends greetings to all of u.
This msg is especially for those food aspirant who want to taste the exact athentic South Indian vegetarian special delicacy in Jodhpur. Today I, along with some of our Tamil fraternity together had a try in one of the burgeoning restaurant named "NANDI" located at Chopasni road. Despite knowing the fact that it's little far away distance about 7 km (Approx) from our campus and a matter of just 15 min travel, we consciously took right decision and choose the restaurant.
Friends literally to say they r serving amazing South Indian veg dishes with tongue twisting delicious food varieties (Starting from idle, dosa to variety rice) with affordable rate. All dishes are excellent and gives us the extreme south ecstasy taste. Pls all veg aspirant must have a try once. It's worth for money indeed. Especially a dish named "Neivedhyam" consists of Idle, sambar, chutney, puliogharai, upma, Kesari path and eventually filter coffee is one the best combo choice for the first time goers.
Not only the dishes but the interior of the restaurant designed with some murals and fresco depicting all South legends and temples are also afford u to get the actual south zone feel where u can get the calm and serene ecosystem.
Note:- I am not having any intention to promoting the restaurant but all my thought process is to just want to share the immense feel of food delicacy which we felt today would also likely go to all of our Tamil friends and families. Bcoz as far as i am concerned we people are wondering for a long while that where we shall get a good and best south indian food. That's all.
Have a try once then u too feel the real taste of our south food with great delightfulness. They even delivering the food in coordination with Zomato food partner.
For ur easiness I hereby sharing the pinpoint address location and menu card as well.
Thanks. Have a nice day...
Read moreI wanted to order a rava dosa from somewhere and tried this restaurant. The order arrived in a nice packing. It was impressive.
Upon opening the packing I saw rava dosa in a clear shape, no broken pieces like how I see in other restaurants. Cashews roasted so well!! The dosa was crunchy and taste of green chillies, cashews and other spices was awesome! The coconut chutney is so delicious. I wish they serve more of it for parcel.
After eating the dosa from here I could not stop myself from ordering a veg uttapam next time. Even that looked so good! Veggies cooked so good and tasted nice.
After that, a few days later I ordered an onion uttapam and again the restaurant did not fail to impress me. The taste was superb.
In Jodhpur if someone asks me which restaurant to go for to eat South Indian, it is Nandi!!
My mother started asking me why I was ordering breakfast from here on regular basis and I told her about the taste. One night she asked me to order rava dosa and veg uttapam from there and I did. Even she was impressed by the taste.
The impressive thing about this restaurant is, this kind of food is served in such a low cost. Even the portion size is so big. The food looks so nice, well shaped.
Rava dosa is a must. Do try it! Won't fail to...
Read moreI had the worst experience at Nandi, thought it would serve authentic South Indian food that one can just dream of, when in Rajasthan. So, I went there and ordered 1 Podi Masala Dosa and 1 Rava PLAIN Dosa, waited for good 20 minutes and when my order was served, the podi masala dosa was cold, I told the owner he said no it is not cold, I didn't want to argue over that so I thought okay chuck it and started having it. Next comes the rava dosa, the guy who served it said 'madam aapne rava plain order kiya tha na woh aa gaya hai' sounds great, still I had some hope. As soon as I tried to take first bite, I realized it wasn't rava plain, it was rava masala dosa. There's seriously some problem with the management, they literally don't listen to what the customers say. They didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for the mistake, these guys really need to set some standards and also, calling it an authentic South Indian restaurant is an insult to the South Indian food industry. Pathetic restaurant, pathetic service and pathetic food. A complete...
