Kissan bakery — Restaurant in Jodhpur

I have purchased cakes from quite a few places in Jodhpur and the cakes here are one of the best. When I first came here I saw many different varieties.

To the side there is a section where I saw tandoori sandwich, garlic bread, bread pizza, hot dogs of 2 different varieties. Patties and similar things were also there.

Then there is another section where packed items like biscuits, cookies, cakes, breads and many other things are there.

On my mother's retirement we ordered a big size cake for the retirement party. The cake tasted awesome!

Choco truffle cake/pastry is a must try.

You have to go to and tell the staff what you want to buy. They write all that down on a list and calculate the bill and ask you to go to the counter to pay for it. Meanwhile you pay they start to pack the items that you ordered. When you pay the bill is signed on and you have to give it again to the person who is packing your food.

Our expectations were completely trashed when we visited this bakery.

We brought 3 items: "Khari" for breakfast - the best Khari we have had so far. Although it was marked as 15AD. Definitely worth the try

Vanilla cream roll Not recommended at all It lacked the vanilla taste Very less cream within the roll although it looked filled on the outside

Fruit and nut pastry/cake This was the most disappointing item of all 3. Very less bread in the cake Very less fruits within the cake No nuts in the cake only on the outer layer

Lastly, the staff was not accomodating. We requested for a taste and we had to buy pastries. The pastries were provided in a very small box and when requested to change the box we were bluntly denied. (Pls see attached pics).
