Barbeque Nation — Restaurant in Kalyan-Dombivli

I visited bbq nation kalyan branch few days back. It's important to provide review for 2 reasons A. They keep asking for you B. If you are paying more than 1k for single person you should expect similar experience, this review will help you to understand & take right decision

1. Staf behaviour - it's good. Probably if their is no rush you will get good experience. Staf was attentive specially guy who kept service us starters from beginning but forgot to tell his name. The girl name with abhilasha was very attentive and asked requirements politely. Other staf with name Ganga don't care much about service but keep asking for reviews. She was persistent to mention her name in review. Not good ! Chef personally came and ask for feedback & persuade me to have another well roasted chicken grill. Good !

2. Ambience - average ! Their USP is grill not ambience so accepted. But in lunch time AC was not there, atleast in start.

3. Food - the most important and mattermost. If you have visited Bombay side restaurants you will understand gap between taste & quality.

Beginning starter was above average - Great, initially bit uncooked but might be to adjust grill overcooking. In grills you will have chicken tikka,prawns,fish(BASA), some paneer stuff,veggies, mushroom etc.

Prawns,fish, chicken tikka were enjoyable. Little extra kick of paper it will stick in your nose for while. Thumbs Up.

Main Course - I believe they might Boils chicken before making gravy which create repulsive smell in gravy. Mutton pot was almost empty no one cared to fill it up by themselves. Dum biryani will not have smokey flavour but it's quite good in quality. But boiled chicken smells ...not good. Overall main course will be average in terms of quality.

Dessert - good but not great you will taste some ice in icecream.

Sweets & salads- Good. But have scope of improvements. Ex cake base were hard

You can consider visiting once-twics. It's good experience but compare to the price you pay, if you have big tummy then only you will feel...

When you book a table, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian, your table will be filled with various starter items as soon as you are seated. A barbeque grill will be placed on your table, and a variety of grilled starters will begin arriving. You will keep receiving starters until you request them to stop, and you can specify which starters you want more of. You have three hours to enjoy your meal, allowing you to eat continuously or take breaks as you prefer. Beverages, whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic, are not included in the meal package but can be ordered à la carte, with deals available on some items.

After finishing the starters, you can ask the staff to remove the grill and move on to the main menu. The buffet offers a variety of food items, salads, and desserts, though there is only one soup option.
