china town — Restaurant in Kanpur

On 18 October we had the server Mr.Ravi nand lohiya.Very good and fast service attendant.On his recomendation We got roasted mirchi chicken & CTM . Too much oily Chicken tikka masala (CTM)Loaded with thick gravy had hardly very few pieces of meat.Not great in taste.For American world class chef and IIT Kanpuria home town wanted to try the big bold name on the top of the building near IIT.Roasted chicken full order had 4 pieces of chicken wings , 2 half cut white meat (breast), 2 small halfcut thigh pieced.So I was wondering if Indian whole chicken have 4 wings and no legs.Chicken Meat was not fully cooked.Red color bloody meat on the bone was raw.We requested the Server Mr.Ravi to ask the chef outside the restaurant to cook it again.Inside the restaurant was scenic.They have only one window to pass through the cooked ordered food and then some busser giving the dirty dishes from the same window.There is also ONLY one cotton towel hanging at the dirty dishes Selving cart.Washed Clean stainless steel dishes were wiped with that dirt cotton towel.I lost my appetite.Naans were not soft Were chewy .Butter Naans were oily had no butter.Overall horrible experience and never going back.Restaurant was busy at rush hour 20.00. I was expecting IIT standard food. Food was expensive in compare to it's quality.Haa...

This is the second time i ordered and it also forced me to write a review about this restaurant. About my order:- I ordered chicken biryani before and chicken kali mirch today

My experience:- About biryani i would say its not easy to digest for everybody it is full of refined vegetable oil and not to be taken at night abd about my recent order which was chicken kali mirch which was their recommendation instead of chilly chicken... i would say it was a sheer waste of time and money. It was full of salt and was unnecessary spicey due to overload od salt and black pepper

I would rate thos restaurant a big zero and recommend my friends reading this review to avoid this place at all...

Best chicken point to hang out with buddy's. Non alcoholic point so one can spend time with people who don't drink. Dishes are very good and tasty, their kali mirch chicken is very famous among people. I also visit the place only for the same item chicken Kali mirch, rest briyani and tandoori chicken, chicken curry is also good in taste.
