Reliable and Good Place to have hygienic vegetarian food and 15 Varieties of Tasty Tea & Coffee in Electronic Phase 2.
I'm a customer of Hotelier Kalyan who runs this Andhra Bhavan for Past 3 years (earlier Babai Andhra Mess). I'm being a vegetarian, Andhra Bhavan has now became my go to place for food now.
Crispy Dosa, Idly, Poori, Pongal, Upma and Pesarattu are their predominant Options for Morning & Night-all served with delicious Sambhar and 2 Chutneys.
For Lunch they have good South Indian meals(Cup of rice, Sambhar, Rasam, Dal, Vegetable sidedish of the day, Thick Curd, Papad, Chapathi-Veg kurma).
Virtue of Feedback hearing & Improvement along with Innovation is their Hallmark. Recently they had introduced different varieties of delicious special dosas like Gongura Dosa, Panner Dosa and Cheese Dosa. Paneer and Cheese Dosa is very good try here, Tried myself.
Neatly maintained Interiors, Good Drinking Water, Not so much Pocket Burning Cost are the points worth noting. A definite place to have food in ECity Phase 2 locality-Dont miss!!! (Only problem you might face is the amount of crowd the hotel gets and some times it would get a little late. This is obvious considering the demand for the quality of food they serve.)
My Favourites of Andha Bhavan (Their milky tasty Tea is added to all these😎) Upma Pesarattu Upma Dosa Pongal Set Dosa Poori Plain Dosa South Indian Meals

Read moreI recently tried Andhra Bhavan and ordered veg meals, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. At ₹120 per meal, the price felt steep for what was offered. The lights and ambience of the place were decent, but the food quality was a letdown.
The chef seems inexperienced, as the food tasted like something you'd get in a PG, not in a restaurant that should be serving authentic Andhra cuisine. The chapathi was bad, the sambar was watery, and both the quantity and quality of the food were lacking. Even the sweet, which is usually a highlight in Andhra meals, failed as they gave jaggery Pongal . There was no gunpowder (a staple in Andhra meals), which was a big miss.
The only positives were the papad and buttermilk chilli that came with the meal.
It seems like this place is still new and needs significant improvements, especially in the kitchen. A better chef could make a huge difference, and paying more attention to food quality could attract more customers. There’s definitely potential here, but they need to step up their game to meet expectations. Right now, the food is just not worth the price, and I left feeling quite disappointed.
Will give it another chance when it gets a little more established and...
Read moreLocated conveniently on the main road of Electronic City Phase 2, just a 5-minute walk from the TCS campus, this place offers a decent seating area that can accommodate around 40 people with a self-service setup.
On my first visit, I tried the idli, which was slightly below expectations and could definitely be improved in terms of texture and taste. However, the very next day I went for the butter masala dosa, which turned out to be really good – crisp, flavorful, and satisfying. The hot ginger chai, prepared freshly on the spot, was a perfect add-on.
Having tried several eateries around this area, I would recommend this one for its combination of good taste, pleasant ambience, and cleanliness. Worth a visit if you're in and around...
