Fancy place with a new concept. Easily visible on the main road. Well lit-up place with decent ambience. Food- The food tastes amazing here and is served on Banana Leaf. They serve Poli-Bhaji along with a number of vegetables. Trust me the Poli tastes amazing with the butter and ghee. Kind of melts in your mouth. If you don't want to have poli, they also provide chapatis and bhakaris/rotte. 2-3 kinds of sweet dishes are served which taste delicious. They have a thali system. Special thali costs 130 serving पोळी, basundi, and masala rice in it. Normal thali costs 100 which serves chapati/rotte, and plain white rice in it. Vegetables are the same in both the thalis. Both taste good but prefer having Special Thali. Rates are very reasonable for such a delicious and healthy meal. One star less from me for the service. They have less waiters due to which service is kind of slow. They sell different kinds of Chatni's and handmade mud articles which are available for display at this place. Decorations are very good with different paintings hanging on the wall. Good vibe. Do surely visit once with your family! Thank You.

I visited this place with lots of expectations but it didn't deliver. The AC section was not allowed to us but later saw some stuff being taken up. There seems to be ample amount of water as it was evident in the Aamras (shikarni) and the butter milk. The Amras was additional for 80 rs. The Holagi was excellent and worth tasting. The Chapati was very average but the Jowar Rotti was really good. All the Vegetables were good and tasted well (Chole, Brinjal and potato) Rice both plain and masala were average but could have been better if the Daal would have been ore flavoufull. The Service was good even with moderate crowd.

Guys bring your appetite when you come here. I came to eat after a day of working and meeting people. I had Holgi Basundi Thali which was a great combination and unique i had never tried. It tasted really good. And I was not at all disappointed, the food's flavour was well balanced and the taste was simply superb!! Good quality,Well trained staff. I highly recommend this place for food lovers and as I am now headed for my second trip to this city I am looking forward to try their other thalis as well. One of the best north Karnataka Food.

Vegetarian food, a diet primarily consisting of plant-based products, is more than just a dietary choice; it embodies a lifestyle that promotes health, environmental sustainability, and ethical considerations. The vegetarian diet includes fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds, excluding meat and, in many cases, other animal products.

Health Benefits

Nutritional Value: A vegetarian diet is rich in essential nutrients. Vegetables and fruits provide a plethora of vitamins and minerals necessary for bodily functions. Whole grains offer sustained energy through complex carbohydrates, while legumes and nuts are excellent sources of protein and healthy fats.

Heart Health: Vegetarian diets are associated with lower levels of cholesterol and blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart disease. The absence of saturated fats found in meat and the high fiber content in plant-based foods contribute to these benefits.

Weight Management: Vegetarians often have a lower body mass index (BMI) compared to meat-eaters. The high fiber content in plant-based foods helps in maintaining satiety, thus aiding in weight control.

Disease Prevention: A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains is linked to a lower risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, and hypertension. Antioxidants and phytochemicals found in plant-based foods play a significant role in disease prevention.

Environmental Impact

Sustainability: Vegetarian diets are generally more sustainable than meat-based diets. The production of plant-based foods requires less water and land, and it generates fewer greenhouse gases compared to animal farming. This reduction in resource consumption is crucial for environmental conservation.

Biodiversity: Shifting towards a vegetarian diet helps in preserving biodiversity. Large-scale animal farming often leads to deforestation and habitat destruction, which can endanger wildlife. By reducing the demand for meat, vegetarians contribute to the protection of natural habitats.

Ethical Considerations

Animal Welfare: One of the primary motivations for adopting a vegetarian diet is concern for animal welfare. Vegetarianism opposes the cruelty and inhumane treatment of animals in factory farms and slaughterhouses.

Moral Responsibility: Many vegetarians believe in the moral responsibility to reduce suffering. By choosing plant-based foods, they align their dietary habits with their ethical beliefs, promoting a more compassionate lifestyle.

Cultural and Social Aspects

Cultural Heritage: Many cultures around the world have long-standing traditions of vegetarianism. For example, in India, vegetarianism is deeply rooted in religious and cultural practices, with millions of people adhering to a vegetarian diet for centuries.

Social Influence: The growing awareness of health, environmental, and ethical issues has led to an increase in vegetarianism globally. Social movements and influential figures advocating for plant-based diets have played a significant role in this shift.

Conclusion

Vegetarian food represents a harmonious blend of health benefits, environmental stewardship, and ethical considerations. It is a diet that not only nourishes the body but also aligns with broader values of sustainability and compassion. As more people recognize these benefits, the adoption of vegetarianism is likely to continue growing, contributing to a healthier, more ethical, and...

I truly wish there was an option for zero stars, or better yet, a negative rating for this establishment.

Our experience here was nothing short of chaotic. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that there was absolutely no management in place. Not a single manager was present, and the cash counter was left unattended. The servers were left to fend for themselves, struggling to manage the entire operation without any support.

There’s no proper waiting system in place. Guests are forced to hover over diners, waiting to snatch a seat the moment someone finishes their meal. To make matters worse, the first-floor section was closed, resulting in a pile-up of customers. It was clear that the kitchen was overwhelmed and unable to handle the crowd during peak hours.

The basic facilities were shockingly poor—there wasn’t even water in the wash basin to wash hands! Half of the restaurant space was cluttered with unnecessary marketing displays like clay vessels and packaged food, further contributing to the chaos. There was no billing staff either; instead, the servers or the customers themselves would approach the counter to recall their orders and get billed accordingly. It took a frustrating 13 minutes just to complete the billing for our group of seven.

Now, onto the food. I usually refrain from criticizing the quality of food, as it’s not in our culture to do so. But in this instance, I feel compelled to make an exception. The food was nothing short of third-rate, bordering on outright cheating under the guise of "Devi Annapurneshwari's blessings." Not a single dish had any resemblance of flavor. The holige were predominantly made with maida, none of the vegetables had any taste, and to top it off, there was no salt! Despite asking three times, the server casually replied, "We don't have salt."

Their only skill seems to be overloading dishes with garlic—everything except the drinking water was drowning in it.

If anyone from management reads this, I strongly urge you to take immediate action. Stop misleading customers with false branding of “Jowar Rotti Meals” and the in the name of Devi Annapurneshwari.

In summary, if you’re looking to ruin your mood, waste your time, and upset your stomach, then by all means, visit this place. But if you’re after good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and great service, this is definitely not the...
