We were four frinds and were searching for a Punjabi Dhaba type place where we could eat stuffed Parathas, but alas, settled once again for South Indian food at 'Bhagini Upahar' - which indeed turned out to be a nice decision.
Located at a very convenience location near Kampegowda International Airport, this place is a perfect stop for delectable South Indian food varieties like Idly, Vada, Kharabath, Kesaribath, Ricebath, Dosa's etc. We were very hungry and ordered varied spread of food items comprising of Idly's, Vada's, Dosa's and a plate of Mallige Idly. Stopped here on 02.09.2025 while on an official trip. Perfect place for a South Indian breakfast after landing at BLR—just a small detour on the way to the city.
✅ Super soft Idlis & crispy Vadas ✅ Scrumptious sambar (absolute highlight) ✅ Authentic veg curry with Rava Idli & Mangalore Buns ✅ Ghee roast dosa as good as it gets

Crowded joint with average ambience, but the food is worth every bit of the wait. We Got so stuffed that lunch & dinner both were super light that day.
Definitely going there on my next visit to the city.
👉 Highly recommended pit stop if you’re heading from the airport into...
