BY THE WAY, where do I start? Ok, I will start with my first visit.
Visited in 2018. My brother who lives in Mysore suggested this hotel and we went there for dinner. Outdoor lawn seating, food was good, service was decent.
NOW 2021.. since we had a good experience in the past, we went there for dinner last Saturday. The place was crowded and they offered us a place in the corner of the lawn where we were mauled by mosquitoes. Now I will go dish by dish and the experience with it- Mutton pepper fry - Tasted good. But it had more bones than mutton. They had used all chop pieces. Hardly got any flesh there. Russian salad veg, we were 4 of us and the serving came in a small plate. We served on everyone’s plate hence half the portion was on our individual plates. This dish was full of salt and had so little Mayo in it that it tasted like boiled vegs in milk cream. We called the guy who was in charge of the table to ask if he can correct it or replace, he bluntly said ‘YOU HAVE FINISHED HALF AND NOTHING CAN BE DONE’- rude and unapologetic.. mushroom tikka- zero salt hence couldn’t get any taste from it. Adding salt on top was not an option since it already came cold. Chicken 65- there was absolutely no chicken in it and just some bones here and there. All that I got was some maida coating with red colour poured generously. Again the waiter couldn’t do much about it. We asked him to call the manager. No one came for good 20 mins. We had to leave. ALL IN ALL .. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED .. Pathetic Service. Zero value for money. Salty and bad food. Not sure if someone from the hotel will read or revert. We had some rotis and paneer gravy too.. as there was no food...

I went to this place to have lunch with my 6 months baby and husband at 4pm. There were hardly any people given the off peak hrs (only 1 table was occupied out of about 20+). I requested the waiter to give me a place with sofa where I could lie my baby. They only had 2 tables with sofa, our of which one was occupied. To my suprise , the staff seemed to be extremely possessive about the remaining table which was a 6+ seater. They blankly REFUSED me to give that table, on the pretext that IN case some other party comes with wider set of people, then they would be using that place. This led to an argument with the waiters and I found them to be extremely rude with no manners , chivalry and had No empathy for a woman with baby. I left that place in complete angst and disgust
Please beware of the extremely rude staff and only go if you want to spoil your mood. Dear hotel owner- just by putting few swings, you CANT CALL YOURSELF KID FRIENDLY. You should teach certain mannerisms to your waiters too, especially when it comes to babies. I don't think my request was unreasonable, since there were hardly aNy...
Read moreThis place is on Ring road. You would notice their board even at night.Huge parking area and waiting area are those good things you do not find often in Mysore. And the waiting areas are nicely kept as well.So in case you have to wait you wouldn't feel like being dumped. There is a very casual air in there.Casual yet hospitable. Their open air arrangement is good.Sheltered area is also nicely decorated with coloured glass lanterns and figure painting on the wall. There is a small playing area for kids with some rides as well adjacent to the family sitting area.
Food is good.We had garlic butter prawn which was delicious in its white creamy gravy. Momos are average but they did not serve with the right cutney. Neer dosa and mutton roganjosh were also very very good.Desserts are not many. And once you are out , there is a panwala with delicious paan.
Staff is polite and formal. They took care well. The experience was good and makes me feel like I would like to...
