The place seems good at first , but the main seating area is a bit dull. The ambiance is bleak. Coming to the food quality , the presentation was neat , the taste was good but dosent match the expectations or it's price. The Buffalo wings we ordered were just normal wings with a lot of ketchup , they weren't even tossed in Buffalo sauce and instead of a decent mayo dip they gave a bowl of curds as a dip. Paneer ghee roast was a disaster , other dishes were fine. The pricing in the menu is that of a fine dining restaurant (quite expensive indeed) but their service was nowhere near to that of a fine dining restaurant. There were no coasters or table mats , plates and spoons were just kept on the table , and the waiter just wanted to hurriedly take our order and leave , didn't have much knowledge about the specials or didn't suggest anything. The food wasn't served , we had to serve it ourselves and the curry for the biryani was given to us after we finished eating. In the end when we asked for finger-bowls we were told thay they were "out" of hot water (no idea how that's possible). Overall , it's an expensive restaurant , food was good some dishes were moderate , can improve on their...
Read moreIt’s been a while, but the memories of my birthday celebration at Coco Grove in Mysore still bring a smile to my face. That evening was nothing short of magical. The place had such a charming vibe — warm lights, breezy outdoor seating, and a peaceful atmosphere that made the night feel special.
I remember how the staff were genuinely warm and made sure everything went smoothly. They even added a sweet little surprise with a dessert that had a candle — a simple gesture, but it made the moment memorable.
The food was amazing back then — full of flavor and beautifully presented. We tried a mix of dishes and sipped on cocktails that perfectly matched the chilled-out mood. Time flew with laughter, good conversations, and great company.
Even though it’s been a while, that birthday at Coco Grove remains one of my favorite celebrations. If you’re ever in Mysore and want a place with soul, this spot is...
Read moreWe had been here yesterday,we were 4. Service was very much delayed, much time gap has been given while serving starters, when we requested for quick serve, the person who took order from us behaved very badly, then we asked him for finger bowl,he denied that also ,giving some lame reason like as there were 40 people who had suddenly visited and some party was going on,so there was no hot water available to provide finger bowls. Like seriously ? We paid u money jst like ur other 40 ppl who had visited fr party.we didnt give u jst papers. This is not the way to treat customers. Equal importance nd service shud b given to all customers. And moreover that person shud have had the basic manners of how he shud talk to a customer. Food was gud,but because dat guy ruined our day, we are giving u 1 star,nd we wl never visit ur...
