Fishtaurant — Restaurant in Karnataka

On the way to Hyderabad on the hospet Gadag highway. Took a left from the highway and just about 1 km away is this restuarant. The food items were reasonable and we were told that the sea food comes fresh from Goa every morning. And indeed all the fish items we tasted were absolutely fresh, as fresh as we get in Goa. We tried the fish tikka, which was accompanied by an awesome mint chutney, squid Manchurian, silverfish rava dry and prawn ghee roast with neer dosa. All were very good and absolutely fresh. Ended the meal with a sol kadi, which was very chilled n refreshing. The decor is very fresh and rustic adding to the charm of the restaurant. There are family rooms and individual sitting cabins. A good place to have dinner with family/friends. The ambience is also nice and cozy. We ordered surma fish thali which consists of one chapati, salad, kismur, fish fry, fish curry, solkadhi and rice and also prawns tawa fry which was delicious. Overall the thali is good. The costs does vary as per the availability of the fish and season. The thali costed us 250 rupees and prawns 290 which is bit overpriced I feel as there were only 6 pieces of prawns.
