Tried it because I got tempted by the peer reviews...
It was a tiny place weaved in sticks and dried coconut tree leaves. Seating provided in benches and desks gave a simple and subtle feel to me. Every bit of it was so primitive and rural based, starting from the food being served in banana leaf bits upto the level of hygiene they had maintained throughout.
Coming to food, it was fresh, served hot, with blowing steam that triggered our belly to starve more and more for it. One particular dish was the jaggery based Kesari bath, that I had never ever tasted in any of the south indian cuisines. It was notably different from the sugar based ones.
Other items like ghee topped chiblu idli, cripsy apt fried vada, the red chutney, uppittu were all appetizing and lite which does not fills your tummy even you do for another plate of it 😁
Overall it was highly budget-friendly with each dish falling between 50 to 60 rs. Crowd keeps pouring in and in especially during weekends that compels you to go early for it, if you insist on having a peaceful breakfast without much ado.
The locality is pretty well planned and spacious which doesn't trouble us in finding this place ❤️
A must walk-in place in Mysore if you prefer an organic traditional breakfast. Do try their kasaya and masala dosa too as many customers repeatedly kept ordering it. Hope my review tempts your tummies as well ❤️❤️. Go...
Read moreThis was my third visit here. I usually visit here after cycling from hill.
Food review: 4 star. Rice bath, Dose, idli and Bella kesaribath are their best dishes which is good but not extraordinary. Quantity is at lower side. They say it's organic. You can also try their heathy juices like hirale and amla juice without sugar.
As a Cyclist: 3.5 star. You can park the cycle outside on ur own risk and get in to crowd, raise ur voice at the server to get ur order and keep showing ur presence, try to grab what is available. First eat what you like most there and then if you are patient enough try other items.
As family man: 1.5 star one of the person from ur family must become a server, his job would be to stand in front of the server and ensure to remind him at least 10 times for each order and supply the dishes to ur family and meanwhile try to eat urself as well.
Payment exercise:At the last again stand in between crowd for 10 to 15 min to tell the cashier what all u ate and get the total amount and pay him. 0 star for this totally new experience.
Hygiene: 2.5 star .one cleaner to take out the plates from a random table. Bannana leaf and adike plate are positive here. But spoons are not cleanly washed. I don't want to put photos here as it would distrub others .
I hope this helps other to be prepared for this experience and improve your skills to have...
Read moreI visited Halli Hatti 🏠🌾, Chandru Anna’s hotel, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The idli was nothing short of perfection—soft, buttery, and so fresh that it simply melted in my mouth. The way the ghee was generously spread over it, followed by dipping it in the spicy, freshly prepared chutney, created a flavor that stayed with me long after the meal.
The ಮಸಾಲೆ ದೋಸೆ (Masala dosa) was another delight. It was perfectly crispy, and the ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ ಪಲ್ಯ (potato filling) inside was so well-seasoned and flavorful that every bite felt like pure joy.
I ordered rice bath, and the masala was incredibly flavorful. Every spoonful felt so fresh and satisfying. The vade was perfectly crispy, so much so that I couldn’t resist ordering two more.
And how could I end the meal without trying something sweet? The jaggery kesari bath was simply out of this world—rich, authentic, and absolutely divine. Just typing this is already making me crave it all over again!🤤
This place is a haven for those who crave authentic and soul-satisfying food. You can taste the love and tradition in every dish🤗 Trust me, you won’t regret visiting Halli Hatti🏠🌾it’s an experience you...
