This sea shell museum is worth a visit. It doesnt take more than half an hour. This is the art world where you will find artifacts made from sea shells, like - taj mahal, ganesh ji, st philomena church, mysore, lord Vishnu’s dashavatar etc etc all made from various sea shells. This museum holds the Guinness World Record (i think for the art work). There is a small shop inside the museum where you can buy different varieties of sea shells or artifacts made from sea shells, even original staf fish(as they say) not sure if its original etc etc. Its open from 9 am to 6 pm. Its very close to sand sculpture museum so you can plan to visit both sand sculpture museum and sea shel art...

This museum can be covered along with Sand museum which is located on the same road enroute Chamundi hills. Entry fee is Rs 60. It will take you hardly 10-15 minutes to view all the exhibits in this museum. But if you watch closely each of the masterpiece done purely authentic sea shells you will be mesmerized totally. Hats off to Radha Mallappa for thinking of such a brilliant idea and executing it to this level of perfection. Worth the visit along with other touristy...
