Hampi calling Guest House and restaurant — Restaurant in Karnataka

Location is extremely beautiful. The whole theme (setup) is wonderful and you can experience nature as it is. I contacted Mr. Siraj during super peak season, when everywhere else stay's for a night was around 2.5 to 4k he helped me book a room within my budget.

On reaching the stay without us asking, they shared us itinerary on all the sightseeing nearby and the easiest order of places to be visited which was really cool.

Rooms are a bit small but definitely does the job for a 2-3 days stay, suitable for nature-lovers, backpackers, couples.

They have a in-house restaurant where you get really delicious food. The prices of the food could be better but is fine, given the location and the quantity /quality of food they provide it's OK.

Suggestions

1. It would be more easy if the least 1 drinking water bottle was included along with the towels and soap you provide for each roomstay.

2. We really loved your hospitality and ambience of the stay, visitors will love playing snooker. (Requesting you to refurbish it with new cue stick and balls)

3. Could place some sign boards in the main route to the stay. ( Due to poor internet connectivity)

Areas needed to improve

1. There are many boards in the stay saying smoking not allowed, but sadly the working staff themselves were smoking under the board. ( Request the management to look into it)

2. Washrooms be it attached or common need to have a exhaust compulsorily for good ventilation. ( The room we stayed didn't have an exhaust, don't know about other rooms)

Note. The Cornacle ride in Hampi is a scam. Better try it out in Hogenakkal.

Other than the above Hampi Calling is a decent budget friendly Guest house, where you can spend some quality time to explore nature and take rest.

Instead of booking stays in main hampi, booking in such stays you will get privacy, less crowd and better price. But book only if you have a vehicle, auto rickshaws in hampi...

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming hut cottage resort during Holi 2025. The resort is located in North Hampi, very close to Anjanadri Hills, where Lord Hanuman was born. Its location has very serene vibe. It’s a peaceful retreat for couples, and saw families as well.

The resort is run by very helpful and understanding Siraj, who also suggested a great itinerary to explore the area. His personal touch made the stay even more special.

We stayed in a cozy cottage with a stunning view of the paddy fields and surrounding hills. The cottages are well-kept, with a lovely balcony equipped with a table and chairs—perfect for relaxing with a game or just soaking in the fresh air while enjoying the beautiful views.

One of the highlights of the resort was the mango trees, which were bearing fruit even in March, adding a nice touch to the environment. The food was delightful, offering a variety of options from Indian to international cuisines. Though, we were there in bit off season, so, all the cuisines were not available but we enjoyed Indian and Israeli food.

The price for the stay was very reasonable. The cottages were neat, clean, and comfortable, making it an excellent value for money. Overall, the resort offers a complete package for anyone visiting Hampi—whether you’re looking for relaxation, nature, or a bit of cultural exploration. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hampi calling , and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
