Hotel Dwaraka Visited this place for dinner.
Location: Located on the main road in Kundapura.
Parking: Parking a 2 wheeler is fine, but is a challenge for 4 wheelers.
Ambience: Good, but very hot even with multiple fans made available
Food Taste: I visited this place based on a recommendation of my friend. But it is slightly a hyped place according to me. The chat corner is maintained and prepared by Mishra Pedha staff, only the items of South Indian & Chinese are done by Dwaraka Hotel. Finding a place was a challenge, as there was no prper system to allot tables on first come first served.
Now about the food, the Chats were great, we had Dahi Puri, Sev Puri, Masala Puri, Samosa Chat and Pav Bhaji. The items like Gobi Manchurian, Fried rice were horrible and not worth paying the money.
Service was also an OK affair.
Pricing: Price of all the items are very moderate & affordable.
My Verdict: Give it a try if you are around for chats alone, but nothing great to make it a point to visit only...
Read moreI recently visited Dwaraka Hotel in Kundapura and indulged in their mouth-watering Idli Vada and Poori, and I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience!
The Idlis were soft, fluffy, and perfectly steamed, with a subtle tanginess that complemented the savory sambar and chutney. The Vadas were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a delightful crunch that added texture to the dish.
But the real star of the show was the Poori - crispy, golden, and puffed to perfection, with just the right amount of oil to make it indulgent without being greasy. The combination of the three was absolute magic!
The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who ensured that our plates were always full and our glasses never empty.
Overall, I would highly recommend Dwaraka Hotel's Idli Vada and Poori to anyone craving authentic South Indian cuisine. It's a must-try when in Kundapura!
Price : reasonable
Recommendation: Don't miss the sambar and chutney - they're the perfect...

I went to Hotel Dwaraka for dinner at 8:50pm. But my experience was not good. I sat for 5-10 minutes, but no one came to take my order. Then a waiter came and said only dosa and Chinese food was available. I ordered Masala Dosa, but it took 5 more minutes to come.
The dosa was not crispy and was cold because it was delayed. But the taste was good. If the taste was not good, I would have given only 1 star. I was also disappointed because no one offered me water, which is normal in hotels. After I finished eating, no one asked if I wanted anything else. I had to go to the counter to pay my bill.
I am disappointed with the service at Hotel Dwaraka. The food was okay, but the service was poor. I hope they improve their service.
