I recently visited Hotel Navaratna in Honnavara, and it was an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The highlight of our meal was the Fish Thali, which was a delightful assortment of flavors and perfectly cooked fish. The Roti and Parota were soft and accompanied the dishes wonderfully. The Paneer Butter Masala was rich and flavorful, and the Gobi was cooked to perfection. Each dish showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Navaratna for anyone visiting Honnavara and looking for a non-vegetarian dining option. I can't wait to visit again and explore more dishes on their menu.

we stopped here for lunch on our way back from Goa. we always have fish thalis on any trip on the west coast and the fish thali here didn't disappoint. although, i expected a little more variety or at least a handful of veggies in the thali. while they did serve us fresh fish, they served a burnt fish for a special koddai fish fry we ordered which was extremely disappointing. lime sodas took some of that disappointment off though :)

This place is a little overpriced as per the category of hotel it comes into. I guess Kingfish is too expensive in this part of country. I stop here frequently in my way to Udupi but believe me there are many better restaurants in Honavar. Overall a good experience though as they serve local cuisine at best but Kingfish wasn’t that good. Should have tried Bangda or some other local fish.

Well it was sort of clean enough for the area. Waiters were busy and one had to be a bit loud to grab they attention to get service. We ordered fish thali without the fried bangda we were told it's not fresh. The fish curry was minimal and without any fish or prawn. Side of clam 4 or 5 pieces. A bit of kismoor and lots of rice. We ordered fried silver fish plate which was nothing to rave about. Will I go there again? Probably not, but I did not have to much time to spend hunting for a...
