Hotel Rajakumara — Restaurant in Karnataka

This is the best restaurant I have been to in and around Mysore. The atmosphere inside this place is now my all-time favorite, because of how spacious it feels, a huge wall painting on Karnataka's rural life and a large Rajkumar's mural. The restaurant lies amidst stretches of green farms, which makes for a pleasant outside view. Also, there are many statues outside the restaurant (Mysore, Rajkumar and Punith Rajkumar themed) and one can easily spend 10 minutes taking snaps there. The restrooms and hand wash basins are all hygienic. The food was great too. But, TBH, I didn't even know what I was eating for 10 straight minutes as I had lost myself in the giant rural mural. It imparted some Zen-like peace to my mind as I romanticize the rural life. Coming back to the food, I heard that chicken curry is also great here, but I haven't tasted it yet. Had breakfast at this place on 1st Oct 2024; went there because Thottada Mane next to this place was closed due to some local festival. This hotel is spacious with reasonably clean toilets and adequate parking. Service was slow, but the food they served were good. These restaurants on the road to KRS is a good breakfast location even though it is a slight detour. Those starting early morning from Bangalore and headed towards Coorg or North Kerala via Hunsur, could get off the Expressway to this place and then retrace and proceed via the bypass (not too bad road) to Yelwala. I found this better than finding a breakfast...

Excellent restaurant with scenic views surrounded by lush green agricultural fields nice parking too..

Ordered South Thali, Curd Rice and buttermilk , nicely prepared .. One star less due to no Mudde Sarru is available
