Restaurant review: Im from Hyderabad and so excited to see someone with Hyderabad in their name and serving Mandi. Saw the latest positive reviews and went to try. Ordered Mutton Mandi half, staff told that pieces will be small each piece weighing around 60grams. We thought let’s order mutton Mandi, and if require we can order any starter. After almost 30min, I asked waiter about food and he just sighed with expression “it’ll come, 2min” while watching the television. After 5min, food was served.
Better bring your own water to drink, 1 litre of water bottle was ₹25 and they are charging ₹30
Food review: It’s NOT Mandi. Rice was lumpy, no Mandi taste. Very few Fried onions and that too very hard to bite. Very few cashew and dried dates (kishmiss). 2 pieces of mutton, one of them was hard to chew, other one was well cooked. Vegetables (carrot, keera, beetroot) were dry. Lot of Mayonnaise was given (store bought, so it’s regular)
Suggestion to restaurant: You are the only people who is serving Mandi in this area, so better try to serve it properly. Please ask your chef to visit any of the restaurants in Hyderabad that serve Mandi and try to understand the dish. Mandi is just not about the big plate and sitting arrangement on the floor. I will not be having this problem if you have some other name, but keeping Hyderabad in your name itself and not even trying to make the dish properly is the problem. Try turning off the television, when we are eating good music would be more than enough, your waiters are the only persons who are watching the tv. Hope you understand and...
Read moreI recently dined at Hyderabad Mandi restaurant for the sixth time and was once again thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. Firstly, the prices remain incredibly reasonable for the consistent quality and generous portions of food served. The ambiance is quite simple but decent and good atmosphere .Now, onto the food. The quality of ingredients used in every dish remains consistently high, and each bite continues to be bursting with flavor. From the succulent meats to the fragrant rice, the attention to detail in preparation is commendable.
The taste remains consistently exquisite, true to the traditional flavors of Hyderabad cuisine with a delightful modern twist.
Manager Baskaran and his team continue to provide exceptional service, ensuring that every visit is memorable and enjoyable.Having dined here six times now, I can confidently say that Hyderabad Mandi consistently exceeds expectations in terms of price, quality, taste, and service. Read more🤮🤮🤮🤬 Worst restaurant experience of my life! If there was an option for minus 0 stars, I would have given that.
We ordered Mutton Mandi (₹650) expecting a decent meal for a hungry family. What we got was a total disaster — a plate of dry, tasteless rice that literally smelled and tasted like feet. Absolutely disgusting.🤮
The so-called "4 mutton pieces" were a joke — tiny bones with barely any meat, not even worth comparing to a 4pc chicken kabab from a street shop. Complete scam.
When I politely raised the concern, the staff simply said they can't do anything about it. No apology, no effort to rectify — pure arrogance.
We were starving but after seeing the food quality and pathetic service, we lost our mood completely. My wife, kid, and I had the worst dining experience ever — total waste of money, time, and patience.
Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to pay ₹650 for garbage food and get insulted with terrible...
