Milano!! Eccezionale.. Awesome. From the fountain in the beginning to the Pool view, there is a perfect set Ambiance. The interiors are really well done. On the side where sunlight is more, there is a Feature wall on a blue background adorned with pictures of the owners' travels. This place is peaceful as a library, I have no words to express the fantastic ambiance. Whatever had come to the table was extra ordinary. You can order anything and the dish is good in its own way. One thing to add, here I could find real authentic Italian cuisine, no adulterations.
Coming to the food, Soups, Cream of Mushroom: Mushroom infused in cream, such a delightful way to start. Seafood Soup: What do you expect in a soup? Here was shrimp, oyster, prawn!! The basil infused soup will be a delight to seafood lovers. My god.. I loved it, even if not a fan of seafood.
Platters, Veg Platter Falafel Hummus: Falafel, a Mediterranean dish with humble hummus stuffed inside. Soft and awesome. Panzeroti: This seems like a fried Ravioli, but a deep fried dish with pesto infused Pocochini Skewer: Looks like an Indian Vada, but has an Italian flavour. Via Milano Salad: More of lettuce, which I like and pure Italian style, add olive oil. Arrichoko: this seems more like a garnish. Mushrooms Bruschetta: Woah!! Small peices of mushrooms concentrated on a peice of bread. Truly amazing 🤩
Non Veg Platter Chicken Fritter: Soft chicken marinated with spices. This was somewhat cool. Calamani Fritter: Shaped like circles, this is also a must try for sea food lovers. Grilled prawn: No words, excellent. Chicken skewer
Pizza, How can we not eat pizza in an Italian place Wow!! From the big blue oven, they make this pizzas which are authentic and tasty. Bollywood Pizza: Vegetarian delight!! A mix and Masti of all the vegetables, hence named Bollywood Mediterranean Pizza: Cheese and Mushroom, chilles to shake. Wow, this is fantastic. This is my pick here. BBQ Chicken: Chicken barbequed and added on a pizza. Wow!! My favourite non vegetarian pizza here. There is a pick for sea food lovers, the shrimp pizza.
Main Course, Penne Barbaresca: Penne pasta in Arabitta or red sauce is Barbaresca. Basil leaves were used here. Ravioli di spinach e ricotta: Ricotta cheese infused with pesto in a Ravioli. Ravioli was perfect!! Some good Italian food here.. Tortellini Tartufo Patata: potato with a tinge of garlic in a roll. Man, this is awesome. Pumpkin Lasagna: Man!! This was fantastic. Lasagna simply superb with pumpkin infusion, this is amazing. It was how a lasagna should be.
Desserts, One word- Out of the world. Italian desserts have no match!! Tiramisu: Being a Tiramisu hunter myself, this is place gave me one of the best Tiramisu ever had. The coffee, chocolate and kahlua were in perfect proportions. Almond Semifreddo: Alert!! Awesomeness ahead, should be it's tagline. Almonds and crumbs. Cheesecake: Perfect
Had a fantastic time here. The service here is unmatchable to anywhere. The hospitality is what stroke me first here. Wonderful service and amazing food, superb ambiance!! What more can we tell..

Read moreI got to know that they recently introduced a lavish Sunday brunch and so I happily went in to try it out. The ambiance was really relaxed and they had both indoor and outdoor seating available. There were several live counters for grilled meat, pizza and pasta. They had also invited a magician who kept everyone mesmerized throughout the afternoon.
Coming to the food and drinks , I hogged on the below mentioned dishes.
Drinks: They have a fantastic wine collection and I tried the white wine sangria. It was outstanding. Also tried a couple of mocktails and I would recommend the blueberry mojito. It was really refreshing and delicious.
FOOD : Coming to the food, there was an elaborate setup of salads, prawn shooters, meatballs, falafel and zucchini appetizers. It was really fresh and vibrant, just perfect to set you up for the main course.
MAIN COURSE
Brasato di Manzo Al Vino Rosso : This is made of beef which is braised in red wine. I didnt try it out but my friends did and they found it excellent.
Chicken Cassiatore: Chicken prepared hunter style with onions, herbs, tomatoes, bell peppers and wine. It was really juicy and well done.
Pan Seared Fish : Made in lemon and butter sauce this is a must for all the fish lovers.
Ratatouille: The classic French dish having tomato, garlic, onion, courgette, aubergine, capsicum, and some combination of leafy green herbs. A great addition to the mains.
Lasagne Alle Verdure: Vegetarian lasagna that comes with layers of cheesy spinach sauce, veggies and basil tomato sauce filled between lasagna sheets and then garnished with cheese. You would surelly love every bite of it.
Spinach Risotto : A North Italian rice dish cooked in broth until it reaches a creamy consistency. This was a spinach version of it and was really creamy and delicious.
Live Counters : They had live pizza, pasta and meat counters. I was perennially standing on the grill section. They had fish, mutton, chicken and pork ribs sizzling away. A heaven for the meat lovers.
DESSERTS : To say that desserts is their USP would be totally apt as they were murderously good. They had flavoured yoghurts, tiramisu, raspberry mouse, chocolate lasagna, three layered chocolate cake and reverse panna cottta. All of them were terrific and top notch.
Overall, I believe Sunday brunch just got a hot favourite destination. Make your plans with family or friends and head over for a wonderful afternoon filled with scrumptious...
Read moreBeing an ardent fan of Italian Cuisine, I never shy away from trying places that claim to be Italian & serve Italian food in a multicuisine setting.
One would be surprised, my authentic Italian experiences have come from both specialty as well as multicuisine restaurants.
Via Milano is one such specialty Italian restaurant in a beautiful setting, serving more authentic Italian fare with a bit of Mediterranean delights thrown in, well to surprise us.
Recently, ended up here on a weekday lunch with a bunch of friends, a bit too hungry actually. The complimentary bread baskets disappeared in seconds & the tummies calmed down after a rich, Creamy & comforting mushroom soup. Beautifully presented, perfectly warm, bursting with mushroom flavours, only mellowed down with the cream. The only downside for me, was the excess salt, which apparently my hungry friends could not be bothered much.
While asking for suggestions, we vegetarian bunch decided to order a platter, that contained a wonderfully presented Caprese Salad, few falafel on a bed of hummus, and a pesto filled panzerotti, all this with a nicely dressed salad that was super yummy & Crunchy.
Penne Barbaresca was One Of The Most Balanced Pasta Tossed With Bell Peppers, Mushroom, Sundried Tomatoes On a Creamy Tomato Sauce, Not Too Tangy, perfectly balanced & delicious.
Tortellini Tartufo Patata, A Tortellini With Truffle Potato stuffing served in a Walnut & Brown Butter, That Tasted Absolutely Delicious With A Slightly Heavy Hit Of Garlic & A Bit Of Walnutty Crunch, Loved It To The Core, Definitely Recommending This Here At Via Milano.
What I loved was also the Pumpkin Lasagna, my first Here, was beautifully made with a mild sweetness from the pumpkin on perfectly cooked sheet pasta.
Finally, for dessert, the classic Tiramisu. One Of The Most Perfect Tiramisu You Can Have In Bangalore, Only Here @ Via Milano.
We got greedy, and ordered a platter to share, which had Almond Semifreddo, Berry Cheesecake & Tiramisu, lovely to the core & slurped every bit of the platter.
After a long time, I felt treated to a wonderful Italian Feast here at Via Milano This Place Comes Highly Recommended For A Wonderful Meal In A...
