Kamat Hotel — Restaurant in Karnataka

One of the worst & Pathetic Kamat restaurant I have ever been to @Bidar 1st floor.... they are not maintaining it at all.. Washrooms are very dirty... it was sticking very badly.. The roadside washrooms are much better.. I bet u can't even step into it... I did complain the captain tue same day.. they said people didn't turn up who clean it..lol... Wake up!!!!!! Customers do expect hygiene as top Priority.... and that's been compromised badly.... Vessels & Plates were dirty too... I think it's better they should start using, use & throw ( recyle) plates.. Thank God... quality of food is not compromised.... it was good but...

It is an old building with old furniture. Based on my previous Kamat hotel experiences, food and hygiene at this branch is poor. The non-AC section is specifically not well maintained. Variety in Kamat special thali seem to be reduced. Paneer in paneer masala and paneer fried rice was stale and sour. Salted lime soda was served as salted lime extract and kinley soda separately. The " Kamat brand" speaks for itself. We went there when we stayed at the Bidar Gateway hotel. The restaurant is old and the seating is a bit jaded. But the taste and service beats everything else. One plate thali comes for 125. Other types of thali meals are available. We went for dinner on a Wednesday. There was absolutely no rush. Service was quick. Nice and tasty food.
