This place is located on the 3rd floor and has fullblown punjabi style, charpai (bunk) seating. If you are not really comfortable with that, they also have the normal seating. The place is extremely beautiful with all the fairy lights in the evenings. The walls are adorned with quirky punjabi quotes which are quite funny . The staff is very humble and polite. Service is quite quick. Coming to the food and drinks, the dry fruit lassi was super good. It is quite heavy though so you might wanna share it to save some space in your tummy for the delicious food that follows. Also tried the masala cold drink which was quite refresing. The iconic cheese burst paratha is a must try at this place. It is basically a paratha stuffed with 8 cheese slices, onion, tomato and chillies. Served with green chutney and a huge dallop of butter. My mouth is literally watering remembering the taste of it :P If you're someone who is diet conscious, They also offer a huge variety of thalis which are not that high in calories but definitely high on taste. Their peas pulao was so good. The phulkas are extremely soft and nothing like I have had before. Daal makhani was again very good . Even the regular aloo gobi was so full of flavours. For desserts, we tried gulab jamun which was topped with almonds. I found it a bit too sweet though. The prices are quite reasonable, given the quality of food. Thank god they have multiple outlets in bangalore too. Will surely visit many more times.

As always with the Kapoor's , the ambiance is kept to give the feel of a Punjabi dhaba. You will see khats ( beds made of jute ropes) everywhere and wall posters with quirky quotes displaying the essence of Punjabi culture. The service was excellent compared to the crowd on the weekend evening time.
Being in a mood of complete Punjabi meal, we started with the dry fruits lassi. At other restaurants you will usually notice that the dry fruits would be concentrated on top and the rest will be normal sweet lassi, but that's not the case here. You can enjoy your lassi along with dry fruits until it's last sip. It's quite fulfilling and I would suggest it's better to share it if you are in a group. Double cheese veg paratha was our next choice. If you are a cheese lover, it's a must try for you. You can feel the softness and amazing flavour of cheese in every bite. It is uniformly distributed and properly cooked.
In the main course, we opted for Indian gravies like paneer butter masala ,Dal Makhani and Aloo gobhi masala with hot chapatis. Trust me it tastes same as your home food but better than it. If you love north Indian food, you are going to fall in love with this place.
Rice kheer was our choice of dessert and it made our taste buds delightful. The kheer was thick and rich...
