I used to be a regular customer at this hotel. Earlier, the service and management were good, but nowadays, they don't show respect to customers—especially Thilak (an elderly person who takes orders), who joined a few months ago. He has a lot of attitude. If we ask him to call someone to clean the table, he responds with an angry face. This has happened 2-3 times. Twice, he even pushed my friend’s son.
If we question him, he talks back and gets irritated when taking orders from customers. We've heard the same feedback from other friends who had similar experiences.
One day, my daughter got down from her chair and walked toward the pantry. She didn’t go to take anything, but he suddenly came and took the straw box and kept it inside. I asked him why he behaves like this every time, and why he gets angry if we say anything. His response was totally disrespectful.
We called the manager, Praveen, and explained the incident. He was sitting inside and told us to wait for 30–45 minutes. We waited for an hour but got no response. Later, I came to know that they supported the worker, saying: "You did the right thing; if they want, they'll come to hotel"
I didn't complain just about the straw—his whole attitude was wrong. He gets irritated when our kids and we enter the hotel. He don't have any rights to show his frustration or anger on us n kids . If the same thing happened to the owner's children, would it be okay? Is it right to support such workers? There is absolutely no respect for the...
Read moreI would not recommend this place mainly because of the attitude of the staff. The waiter did not have a customer friendly attitude AT ALL. We arrived at 12:20 and he kept reiterating that South Indian won't be ready until 1 and North Indian won't be served until 1:30. Their menu actually says lunch at 12:30. We were a family of 7 and we ended up ordering cucumber and carrots until we waited and were served jola roti and South Indian meals at 12:55. The irony was that the next table received North Indian food at 1pm.
Whoever the owner is, he/she needs to be physically present here at the restaurant. Your waiter was more worried that if he pushed the cook to serve us food a bit early, the cook would end up calling the owner and complaining. As a customer I completely understand that you may be understaffed or might have timings issue, but if you had staff that knew how to treat a customer right then trust me none of the delays would have mattered. Not giving a solution and saying no to everything a customer is asking will only make the customer angrier. The waiter could have offered salad or soup or even just some buttermilk, instead he kept saying no and nothing can be made fast. In the end he even had the audacity to say please don't scold us on Google, I simply walked away.
To the Owner - you are going to lose your customers just because of your staff. Your staff was even arguing amongst themselves inside near the juice service area. It's a pity because your food is...
Read moreAn amazing place in mysore. First time I'm satisfied with a restaurant because they give what they state in the menu and much more. I went on Saturday for lunch and ordered a North indian thali and man! What a wholesome meal it was. The same menu as other restaurants but they actually took the efforts to add veggie salad and fruit salad. They also gave a cup of gobi manchurian in it. In times when it shouldn't be the speciality to fulfill their duties as per menu but a need... The restaurants these days always disappoint us with not providing those and even if they do, it tastes horrible but this meal was truly great and the best I have...
