If you are in a coastal area, you would want to be at the beach, enjoy some great local cuisine and maybe down a few beers or drinks. This place offers it all!! There is seating available in outdoor shacks (preferred) , indoors (not recommended) and open in the beach (the best!)

The food here is awesome! Be it sea food like calamari or bangda or sear fish or disco, it’s prepared perfectly with the coastal masala and is both fresh and authentic. I highly recommend the tandoori style fish, it’s absolutely amazing. They also have a host of veg and chicken starters including in-house specialties like Chicken 85 that you will love!! There are ample options for main course as well, from Chinese to North Indian to local coastal delicacies.

The place also offers all popular brands or beer , breezes and alcoholic drinks. It’s not a cocktail or mocktails type of place so best to avoid that here.

The staff are great! Very helpful and polite and the service is pretty decent. There could be a little delays considering where you are seated, but all-in-all the service is great! The pricing too - both for food and alcohol is very decent and soft on your pockets!

An absolute gem of a place and surely going to come back for more!!

Kinara! This shore side restaurant is one of the popular food destinations in Kundapura. I am a sea food fan and so i ended up here one fine day. The part I love about this place is that, tables have been set up on the beach other than the restaurant that is inside a compound. I didn't bat an eye towards the indoor restaurant because hey, who won't love to have some good food while sitting in the shade upon the golden sand while the ocean breeze makes you fall in love with the view. If you wanna experience eating on the beach, you have to go a little early because there are others who are racing for the seat. The food. Yes. To put it in one word, Great! The food is just great and you can also order some chilled drinks to complete the setup. Loved the starters, especially the prawns garlic and prawns chilli. I think they make a decent plate of squid chilli too. The menu doesn't house much variety in it but it does deliver good taste. I wouldn't recommend rice items here. They're not bad, but, they could do better. Pricing is reasonable so you could go more than once definitely if you happen to love the place. Best time to go is for dinner I think.
