Mandarathi Gardenia — Restaurant in Karnataka

Worst experience ever. It started with listing the number of items that wre not available in the menu on a Sunday evening. Tatte idly ( the only dish for which we stopped in front of that restaurant) and any idly for that matter was not available. Then we realised that chats and juices were also not available. Later we ordered a masala dosa, a set dosa and shavige bath. After 20 mins we got the dishes. Peanuts in shavige bath were over fried ( seedu hogittu) but I didn't worry much about that. I simply separated all the black peanuts and quietly had the shavige bath. Later in the middle, I tasted a spoon of chutney provided along with the shavige bath. It was shocking to notice that the chutney was already decomposed ( haLasi hogittu). Then l called the cashier/manager/owner who took the order and informed him about the same. It was even more shocking that he didn't even bother about the rotten ( could not find a better word) chutney and instead, for the over fried peanuts he replied that the peanuts are actually fried in oil and it happens once in a while. He didn't even say sorry at least for the sake of it. All together it was a very bad experience and for your information the owner/cashier/manager dont care about...

From many years I'm traveling in this route,in many occasions I visited this hotel, from the beginning to till date there's no improvement, recently I visited this hotel on 21.02.2020, ordered roti, and veg curry, the rotis are made from low quality maida, the rotis were like papad, not eatable, then we ordered 2 south Indian meal's with puries, the size of the puries were almost 10RS coin, the meal was served with a small bowl of rice, by consuming half bowl of rice one will feel their stomach full, because the rice cooked with low quality baking soda, whole day you will not feel hungry, one will definitely feel n enjoy food booting, also they use substandard tasting powder one will definitely feel uneasy, one can test, further for cleaneness I give minus rating, next toilets are not marked, ladies are in big confusion, most of the time ladies uses gents toilets, after knowing that they are in gents toilets just imagine, I witnessed this...

This place does not even deserve the rating of 1. The only good thing about this place is the view that it offers ( that to only from some seating places), other wise nothing is worth this restaurant. The hygiene & quality of the food is very very pathetic. They add a lot of colouring agents to their dishes. Further, I also did find hair in the coffee served. The cutlery provided were also greasy & not washed properly. Thought that this feedback would help the management but the staff were least bothered & showed the attitude of "talk to my back". So, all of those for whom the hygiene & the quality of the food does not matter then this is the palce to visit. But for those who are looking for a good quality food & atleast a decent hygiene then this place is not even worth the sight...... Good luck for all those visiting this restaurant.....hope you ppl do not suffer from the unhygienic food provided......Will not even look at this...
