Mani dum briyani is a very well known early morning biryani serves only in 3 days a week (Tuesday,Friday and Sunday). They serve only mutton(sheep not goat) biryani and no other biryani or dishes . Sundays the hotel starts serving food at 4 AM, Tuesday and Fridays at 6AM . Generally on Sundays the queue starts at 2:30 AM.
Dining : Once you collect the food you can take it to nearby sit areas, however seating is not so big. Each sit area's can accommodate 30 to 40 people at a time. Apart from that there is also a small Dinning area in the same place where you collect the food. In rainy seasons the area is not so clean and not well lit (less light). As soon as someone completes eating there is a helper to clean the table and he does clean them diligently.
Food : We reached around 4:30AM and there were around 40 to 50 people standing in queue and it took almost 15 mins for us to reach the counter. They accept cash or UPI (g-pay). There is icecream shop (nandini) nearby and costs normal. There is also a coffee shop in same compound.
Price : Each plate of biryani costs 270 rupees(as on Aug 2022) and water bottle costs 20 rupees. It is worth the money honestly for biryanies.
Update(as on 11 dec 2022): They started to provide chicken kebab for 100 rupees.
Takeout : After you reach the counter you can say if it is takeaway or for Dinning. The takeaway costs the same as Dinning. They will issue you tokens and you should give it at the counters and collect your food . Please note there are separate counters for Dinning and takeaway.
Suggestions:
To customers :
Plan to visit by 5/ 5:30AM there will not be much crowd in queue . Avoid going on rainy seasons or when it rains.
To hotel management:
Please take care of the Dinning areas as they are dirty and not well lit with lights. There are electrical wires, water pumps hanging all around. Also during rainy seasons it makes things worser, may be consider sheltering the area's where people stand in queues.
Overall it is nice, tasty, worth the money food that too in early morning. Undoubtedly should be tried. Please note they don't have branches. In online Food ordering systems such as swiggy you find Manis dum biryani but they are fakes. The original one you find only here in...

The anticipation of tasting Hoskote Mani Dum Biriyani starts from the journey itself, with a long drive often being part of the experience for many visitors from Bangalore.
The biryani is cooked using a traditional dum method, where the marinated meat and rice are layered and slow-cooked to perfection in a sealed pot. This technique ensures that the flavors are deeply infused, resulting in an aromatic and flavorful dish. The first bite reveals tender pieces of chicken or mutton, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The rice is fluffy, with each grain standing separate yet imbued with the rich, spicy flavors of the marinade.
One of the standout features of Hoskote Mani Dum Biriyani is its use of local ingredients and traditional spices, which gives it a unique taste compared to other biryanis. The balance of spices is masterful; it's neither too mild nor overwhelmingly spicy, appealing to a wide range of palates. The biryani is typically served with a side of raita, which complements the rich and spicy flavors, offering a refreshing contrast.
The ambience of the place is unpretentious, focusing purely on the food rather than fancy décor. This simplicity adds to the charm, as the focus remains on delivering an authentic biryani experience. The service is efficient, though the place can get quite crowded, especially on weekends, reflecting its popularity.
