It was a quick decision made to visit Mysore Union. It’s a lavish place. Both two & four wheelers parking space available.

They have different seating area for smoking & non smoking people. We preferred non smoking zone.

Though we have to provide the details for table booking, we got the table in couple of minutes.

Place is quite cozy. As this restaurant is in the out skirts of mysuru, you have really fresh air to breath. We got a pool view table. Menu was contactless. They have a huge spread. May be, to cover all their savoury, I need to visit them many times.

We ordered: In starters-Cheesy chicken tandoori kebab, squid ghee roast, cheese tikki paneer, mini cheese samosa. Beverage-fruit punch & orange blossom. Main course- Veg biryani.

Cheesy chicken kebab was cooked as tandoori, but cheese was topped. I don’t say it was great, but good. Cheese on top of chicken tandoori had different flavour because, tandoori comes with smoky flavour and with cheese was delicious. Good try though to fusion up the dishes this way. Squid ghee roast, it’s so delightful and a must try dish here. It was quite spicy, but it should be. Squid was well soaked in masala and ghee. I couldn’t stop myself tasting the dish. Cashew was garnished. Cheese Paneer tikki was awesome. Crispy from outside and mushy inside. Cheese was crated as a topping. Splendid dish. Cheese samosa was not upto the mark to my expectations. It was just, cheese was moulded with dough and fried. The outer layer was lot crisp and with a bite of it, you feel the cheese. At last, veg biryani which turned out to be bland taste. They can spice it up more to get the biryani punch. Beverage were common in menu.

Altogether, a great place to savour some great food as they also serve alcohol. Service was pretty fast. All staffs were wearing mask.

Restaurant has taken at most care of covid situation and they check temperature of each customer.

Note: Due to COVID-19, kindly visit if you feel safe. Wear mask and carry...

Had been here on a Friday evening and it was crowded. We found a place in the ground floor. Ordered beer and food.

The beer Budweiser magnum costed around 400 per bottle.

The foods ordered were

Manchow soup - The soup was too thick felt like too much cornflour was added and the fried noodles given were too thin and didn’t taste that great Rs.129

Tawa baby corn pepper dry was the days special and it tasted absolutely good however the quantity could have been a little more for the price Rs. 299

Tawa chilli garlic mushroom s masala was little weird however the taste was nice but felt like it contained a lot of oil and again the quantity could have been a little more for the price Rs.299

Crispy corn tasted Okaish and it contained alot of oil Rs.189

Hakka noodles veg tasted good but again contained alot of oil which could have been reduced Rs.239

Butterscotch ice cream costed Rs.199 for 2 small scoops and felt that the scoops could have been a little bigger

Virgin mojito mint coated Rs.279 and very disappointed to say it tasted like lime soda with mint

Orange martini costed Rs.400 and tasted good

The service is quick and the waiters are too good and friendly and assist you in ordering the food of your taste however the taste of the food could be improved a little more and oil used in the food can be decreased.

However can visit once while in Mysore the...

Last week I had been to socials with my partner and I had very worst of worst experience ever in my life time till date. The owner’s brother named Sachin has a very low profile of showing hospitality to the public who comes to visit all over from Bangalore. He only allows the customers upstairs who are members and non members are not allowed there. He rudely said to pay 3lakhs if you wanna go to upstairs which was really not that good the way he behaved. Moreover only stags where present and my partner was teased by few locals as well. If I complained to the management they where least bothered. I highly recommend none of them to be a part of that messy bar ever!! Being a Bangalorean I proudly say my city is far better for parties and none are money minded like mysore socials management asking 3Lakhs for floor upgradation….

Even after reserving the table and it was confirmed from them later once I reached 15 minutes prior they said to wait as the table is not available that was really disappointing. As we travelled from Bangalore there was no other options to wait after we waited a table was reserved and the food we ordered later was really expensive and not up to the quality. It’s really way too far to do a house party rather than going and wasting money and time….

Overall I sincerely suggest this place is a great example for people who wants to waste money , time and...

Not sure if it's gone downhill or if weekday lunch is a bad time. I'd had good service and food earlier on a weekend dinner. This time, awful. We ordered a bottle of wine and starters- galouti kebab, kalmi kebab. The starters came 30 mins later- we were half way thru the wine- the waiter said that 'tandoor takes time'. He should have informed us when we ordered. The galouti was good but dripping oil- seemed deep fried, not pan fried. They had no suggestions when told my dietary intolerances, though I'd called ahead and asked. One waiter didn't know the difference between mangalorean and western food - unless he thought mangalorean qualifies, as it IS on the west coast. I finally ordered a grilled chicken salad and got a plate of greasy stirfried chicken and peppers, see pic. The sizzling brownie didn't taste of much. The ambience is very nice, interesting flooring and table tops. Should use clear or ethnic style table mats to go with them. Unlikely we'll return or recommend.
