Read moreHey guys... You loose terribly in the rating just because of your poor service and management . Yes you are right, there is absolutely no issues with the food- it's decent for the price you tagged. Now will explain Little better... Basis our experience. I have visited your place first in 2015, then after that every year once or twice I used to visit.. I was happy rather comfortable visiting for the ease of access and fooding on the go, as you ppl were expanding the seating and parking for the customers. However for the last 2 years, only your parking space and seating might have expanded, not your number of staff and their attitude.!
You might accommodate the entire Mysore road traffic in the parking and 1/3rd of the parked customers you might offer a seat.. that's ok.. , but for the seated customers, there are not adequate staffs to attend. And for those staffs who are there to attend they feel that we customers are at their mercy!! Yes that's right as after sitting there and thinking about scorching parking, we don't have any other choice, like going out and spin around to go to another food place.
Absolutely care free attitude and waiting time to eating time ratio is like 3:1 kind of. For example if you are ordering minimum items which you can eat in 15 mins you need to spend total 1 hour there including 45 mins of idle time.
Our experience on Jan 2023 Gate in 2.10 Seated at 2.20 pm. 3 of us. Idle time for getting a look from the attender and to get the menu card 15 mins - 2.35pm. Since we have a fair idea of what to order, Order placed 2.36 pm. Ordered Neer Dosa, rice bowl, Anjal and pomfret. No fancy!
Food served at ~ 2.55 pm -20 mins Relishing the food and washing - 15 mins.3.10 Getting a look to tell him for sharing the bill.5 mins, as no one came to ask we need anything else or shall take the bill.!
Got the bill 3.20 ! Payment done and and out of seat at 3.22.
Gate out 3.30.
Is it really worth? For me NO ! Absolutely waste of time. Next time if I want to really sit back and relax for 1 hour for a minimum order , i will consider this place otherwise there are many options before and after this place , i guess. Let's explore.
Please try looking on to your human resources and kitchen strength when you want the parking 🅿️ place to be filled!
Thankyou.

Good improvement in terms of service for dine in... Hence improving the rating for the review. Food is still good and...
Read moreI recently visited Poojari Restaurant in Mysore with high expectations, given the hype surrounding this place. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my honest feedback.
To begin with, the food quality was quite poor. We had ordered mutton dry, but were instead served mutton fry. While mistakes can happen, what made it worse was the lack of accountability from the staff. When we pointed it out, no one cared to acknowledge it properly or offer a replacement. The dish that was served was drenched in oil, making it extremely heavy and unappetizing. It felt like we were eating a plate of oil with chunks of meat in it. The taste was bland and underwhelming, definitely not worth the price we paid. It lacked the richness and balance you’d expect from a restaurant that claims to specialize in such dishes.
The ambience is nothing special, but what really ruins the experience is the terrible customer service. The waiters are extremely rude and inattentive. The person who was taking orders behaved as if he was doing us a favor by simply being there. Even after calling him multiple times, he blatantly ignored our table and walked past us as if we didn’t exist. There was a serious lack of professionalism and courtesy, which made the whole dining experience feel uncomfortable and frustrating.
One of the most disappointing aspects was how unwelcoming and disorganized the service felt. There was no sense of urgency, no smile, no willingness to listen or correct their mistakes. We felt completely neglected, and it was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority here.
I’m giving this place 2 stars only because the food was served hot and the seating was okay. But that’s about it. The rest of the experience was honestly not worth it. If you’re in Mysore looking for a good dining spot, I’d strongly suggest skipping Poojari Restaurant. There are many better places in the city with good food, better service, and a more...
