We stopped by for lunch on a fine Friday afternoon last week. The place was full with tourists given the long festival weekend. Their buffet lunch is a huge draw. A simple, healthy, delicious buffet that's easy on your waistline and wallet too. One man Krishna was buzzing about, courteously attending to each customer. I was amazed at how he single-handedly managed everything, from taking orders to serving to cleaning up the tables, despite repeat requests from the customers. He was absolutely professional and never lost his smile through it all. We could hear his name being called out by the kitchen staff as much as we did from the customers. He is surely as asset to the Jungle Lodges team. The Earth shop where they sell interesting accessories and clothing is a must-visit. If you are a wildlife enthusiast, every item there is worth a buy. Ravikumar who manages the shop is extremely customer-friendly and patient. He even recommends the right colours and fits for each customer. It Is a delight to see such genuinely nice people who are amazing professionals. I sat there through the evening until tea was served with hot pakoras around 6pm. Krishna was still there untiringly attending to every customer who walked in. It is people like Krishna and Ravikumar who make repeat/loyal customers out of tourists like us. They certainly need to be rewarded for their hard work and sincerity. Thank...

Read moreI always wanted to visit this place for breakfast before entering bandipur, finally made it there today but unfortunately it was not how i expected. There were only 2 breakfast options. Idli-vada-sambar and bread-toast-omlette. The only reason i gave 3 stars was because the food was good and place was neat and clean with good parking space. Vada was crispy and idlis were soft. There is a very nice place to sit outside. But dont dine there as monkeys may pounce on the food. If you dont want variety in breakfast you can visit this place. It's definitely better than a lot of other places i have visited...
